Unfortunately fell seriously short of our expectations. The restaurant is cute and clean, but the service wasnt good and the food was bland. Our server was in such a rush, when we were the only ones in there, that she didnt offer to refill our drinks, or ask how we were doing. The food was more like school cafeteria lunch and not like what we expected. The only thing of note was the yummy cheese curds. The prices are about average for any dinner across the US. Also, the rootbeer tasted like diet, was definitely off, so went next door and got one out of a vending machine, that one hit the spot. Overall, I really cant recommend coming here

My husband and I seem to hit West Forty almost every time we are in PR. They have awesome breakfast menu! Also have 1/2 portions of some other menu items. Only real complaint is the country music that is consistently played- not a fan.

The Y Steak House has been in business since 1946. They offer a good variety on their menu, specializing in steaks. They have nightly specials, which are good. They offer wine and beer. Service is excellent and the food is very good.
Ate here only once in the 10 years I've lived in the area. The steaks were thin and tough. They were out of baked potatoes and we had to have mashed. Tasted like boxed potatoes. Salads were small & dressing came in packets.

A pizza and Mexican restaurant in Park Rapids, MN located between Big & Little Sand Lakes. Public dockz available.
For years we've driven past the Zhateau Zorbaz when we've visited the area around Park Rapids. This year, it was determined that the traditional Friday night at the resort pizza wouldn't be forthcoming due to the heat and other events: so, we stopped at Zorbaz! What a neat place -- had a great pizza, no clean up at the cabin, and an excellent beer! The atmosphere was pretty neat and the staff was very friendly! Guess we'll be there more often on the next trip north! Thanks to the folks at Zorbaz!

The burger was decent enough. The service was down right terrible. Almost had to yell, would you get me another beer. They didn't even ask if the food was ok like most places usually do. I won't be back.

After a hard day playing in Itasca and crossing the Mississippi :) we headed here for eats. Actually another park visitor recommended this spot to us and I was skeptical because sometimes, at other parks I've visited the food is mediocre, but we continued. And what a a fun time we had. Really tasty food at reasonable prices. The only thing we noted was that the food tended to be a bit salty, but it was tasty anyway, served hot by a friendly staff.

Extended family met here for lunch on a June Saturday. They were quite busy and fortunately I arrived early and managed to grab a large table. They maintained the busy atmosphere throughout our meal. We all had sandwiches, which were delicious and very reasonably priced. Our server was helpful and attentive throughout. They do not accept credit cards, but there is an ATM available.

When I travel to the pine forests and sky-blue waters of Northern Minnesota, no visit is complete without dinner at Hilltop. Tonight we reopened summer with a Hilltop dinner of Walleye and their wonderful specials. As usual, the meals were delicious. Their menu is good, but their changing specials list is grand. We love the Hilltop views and the lakeside setting as well as the charming decor. I give Hilltop my highest rating.

The food and service here is excellent. The menu is interesting and somewhat innovative for the small, resort town. I haven't been here to visit for a few years and was pleased to see that they are doing so well that the restaurant has expanded recently. I was in town for 5 days and chose to eat here twice it was so good and there were so many items on the menu that were enticing! Thanks for taking the time to support us and leaving a wonderful review. So happy to hear you were able to stop in a couple of times to visit the Good Life here in Park Rapids! Don't be a stranger and stop by again real soon!
