Large menu and you can mix orders. Large portions. Tomato sauce is ok but not great -- tasted like common grocery store sauce.... We had pizza which was ok but very average. No seating -- designed as a takeout place. If this review is helpful then please indicate so below.

Quiche was prefect with lovely melted smooth cheese in the middle. I splurged on a piece of pecan cheesecake. The more behaved ladies did lovely salads. The improved tables and chair are more comfortable with window views of downtown.

I've enjoyed dinner and drinks here. They have a separate restaurant away from the bar, or a bar with full meal service. They have an outside seating area also for those awesome Alaska days! They also have TVs showing sports and live entertainment/DJ on weekends.

Our lodge overlooks the 20+ mile long Matanuska Glacier. It is located at mile 102.2 Of the Glenn Hwy/Scenic Byway. We offer wonderful homemade desserts, great burgers and Alaskan microbrews on tap. It is the perfect place to relax after a hiking, ice cli
We stopped by for lunch on a weekend. We weren't in a hurry so it was a big deal but service was slow. And we were never offered a refill on water or drinks. Strange as we were the only patrons. Food was barely ok. I ordered a burger. Just frozen patty which is ok but it was served on Ciabatta. That has to be the worst possible selection of bread to serve burgers on. Just plain nasty hard crusty bread. Next time I'll ask before ordering. Don't know why anyone serves any sandwich on Ciabatta. The view from the window is incredible and makes it worth stopping by on a nice day.

Founded in 1978 we are a Traditional Pizza Parlor featuring a mix of Italian and American foods. We feature Authentic Hand Tossed Pizzas cooked on Stone. Our Soups, Dressings, Sauces, and even our Italian Sausage are homemade in house.
This place has been around Palmer for forever! They must be doing something right because theyâre still here and even on a Saturday night in February, they were open and there wasnât another soul in that restaurant. We ordered a Delphi special and a chicken parmigiana. And a Greek salad!Silly me, I didnât take any pictures... The food was good but of course there can always be more meat on the meat lovers special pizza. The chicken parmigiana was cooked correctly and not overdone. There wasnât a lot of dressing to go with the Greek salad but thatâs okay we took it home and Iâll add my own later. Service was very nice â both host and server were attentive and kind. The drawback⦠No gluten-free options other than salad of course. Point loss here! Definitely going to have to jump on the wagon because theyâll lose business if they donât. We broke from our diet last night being gluten-free because we were working late. So if I would go back again, I would want to make sure that there was a gluten free option available and something more than just salad. The decor hasnât changed on the inside of this place for quite some time, so imagine 80s dining style. Beer and wine are available for purchase. Know that there is parking in front and to the right side of the building but there is overflow parking on the left side of the entire building. Enjoy!

Today's Rhetorical Question : Why, here on Tripadvisor, is the Alaska State Fair listed under Restaurants and not under Things To Do in Palmer, Alaska ??Because of this fact, I will begin my photo upload showing some of the many food venues at the Alaska State Fair. Then will come photos of the animals. Finally a few photos of other things to see and to do at the Fair.My wife and I used to attend the Alaska State Fair together on some semblance of regularity. However, because of difficulty standing and walking long distances, she opted-out of accompanying me to this year's event. True there are a lot of places for seniors to sit down. However, it is an all-day type of event and, if you are disabled, be sure to pace-yourself.It is just a fun thing-to-do. Everyone seems to be enjoying themselves. The displays in the exhibition halls are interesting. So too are the animals. This year I did not see a mother pig with piglets. I visited the fair the day it opened. Maybe, after my visit, a mother pig had a batch of piglets. If there is a mother pig with her piglets, they are a must-see attraction in my opinion.

Really wanted to love this⦠Had a nice atmosphere and easy access. Theyâre bringing in beers from local breweries - nice to be creating and promoting cohesive-community. But first thing we noticed was that our table was dirty. Worse then, the sever even offered up that she probably missed it because there were kids seated there before us. (Argh!) However, itâs a bit of a miss as to how these were approved to begin with? There is lip around the tables that allows everything to catch on the sides. Crumbs, sauce, food particles.... it can all fall in there! So cleaning these needs to be very detailed and precise. Not sanitary in our opinion at all!The picture shows quite a bit of fluff which looks nice but collectively we had less than 4 ounces of chicken on the entire pizza. When youâre paying $20 for a medium-size pizza, split between two guests, having protein actually on the pizza, is appreciated. (We didnât order the vegetable one for this reason.) Cheese and tomato was minimal as well. The gluten-free crust was not amazing. This one needs some serious tweaking. Itâs not on my recommendation list at all for multiple reasons. Wonât be returning here again anytime soon.

Voted Best Restaurant for 3rd year in a row! Featuring Alaska sized burger, fresh salads, hand thrown stone baked pizza and over 40+ local beers on tap. Enjoy our large outdoor patio and free music on Friday and Saturday nights during the summer starting
We enjoyed the vegetarian, gluten-free Mediterranean Pizza here so much we can back a second time on our way back through Palmer. Generous and just the perfect ratio of toppings. The gluten-free crust is think and delicious on its own unlike most thin, cracker-like GF crusts. They offer a broad assortment of beers and a GF cider. The outside seating area is delightful and quite busy. Highly recommend the place, food and service.

Great place to eat, and a culinary highlight of our Alaska trip. There were a variety of fresh food entree options, bakery items and unique coffee and teas. We stopped here for a nice lunch in Palmer while road-tripping from Anchorage to other explorations.

Thanks to the manager of the Palmer Motel who recommended this place. Second only to the Talkeetna Roadhouse for breakfast. Fun wait staff. Huge breakfast. Really good food. Lots of variety. A man with us consumed the entire Carnivore plate. What a plate of really great food.
