Several very good local beers. Has typical bar too although we had a large Pinnapple, ham and sausage pizza. I like the Ryder Red. The bar food was good and the afternoon music duo was entertaining in years past it was the only brewery in town, now's there's more. It's still good and we'll go back. Dear shipjim,Thank you for the ongoing patronage and review. Glad you enjoy our award-winning brews and made-from-scratch food, which includes Wild Caught Salmon Fish & Chips, Artisan Pizzas, and this weekend's feature: Smoked Prime Rib Dinner. Lots of biscuits and gravy and eggs, lots of different ways. I had gluten free huevos rancheros and he had country Benedict which was fresh biscuits, sausage patty, egg and gravy. Itâs not something he would usually eat but he loved it. Small place, open for breakfast and lunch only. Server knew about gluten and what was in each dish. We enjoyed it and will return.

Sat on the outside which was very pleasant. Had live music by a couple of talented guys. Service was very slow but waitress was apologetic. Ordered Bufflo wings and was not happy. Was not thoroughly cooked. Flavor was ok. I feel this was a better bar than restaurant. Go here to drink but try somewhere else to eat.

We visited Kip's twice in two days with our group, by popular vote. The first time 6 of us were on the patio and enjoyed various street tacos. My brother got the Pilewski, which was huge! Food and drinks, especially the margaritas, were enjoyed by all. The next night our experience was marred a bit by a bartender who really didn't know what she was doing. We sat in the bar waiting for a table, and she had no clue how to make a Manhattan (even when given directions), and diluted the Sangria with soda water! The food was again great, and we loved listening to the live music. So maybe stick to beer and margaritas for drinks, and enjoy the tacos!

We are a full breakfast and lunch restaurant, coffee shop, and bakery. Our coffee is locally roasted, made fresh weekly. Primarily our menu items are made from scratch. See you soon!
We thought we'd give this place a try as our motel didn't have much of a breakfast and we had a long day ahead of us. Quite frankly the name was just so catchy I wanted to check it out. When we walked in the door there were people at several tables and none of them had any food, so we wondered if we should stay or not, as we were on a schedule. ( they all did receive their food shortly after we sat down. so we felt more at ease then ) We waited for a couple a minutes before we were seated. Not that it was a long wait, but a lot of people came in after us, and we noticed that they were all seated immediately, literally the second they walked in the door. Our service wasn't slow by any means, the place was busy, and our food came out pretty fast, but I noticed that everyone else seemed to be waited on faster than we did. I also noticed other tables had their checks brought out ( even though they arrived after we did ) and ours never did get delivered to our table. My husband went up to the counter to pay and stood there for several minutes without anyone waiting on him. It just really seemed like we weren't being given the same treatment as all the other diners and that didn't sit well with me.As far as the food goes, it was tasty and very good. That said, it was also not as expected. I love corned beef hash. I make it at home and have ordered it in restaurants all over this country and in other countries. This was unlike ANY I've ever had before. The corned beef was firmer bits ( really like chunks of ham ) which was different than any I've had before. It was like hunt and peck to find any buried in between large chunks of fried potatoes with peppers and onions. Overall, the dish tasted good, but it wasn't at all what I was expecting and really had NO corned beef flavor as there was so little of it.I don't really know how to rate this restaurant and struggled with the title of my review. Overall, service was quick and the food was tasty. Normally, I wouldn't have any complaints about either. However, it was obvious that everyone else received even faster service than we did, and while tasty, the food wasn't as expected as I was expecting a dish that was heavy on the corned beef. The potatoes were delicious, but in this dish, the corned beef was an afterthought, not the star of the plate. The decor was a little dark and didn't have much decoration. They were either remodeling part of the dining room or adding on during our visit, so maybe the place will get brightened up a bit.Wow! Thank you for the detailed review! We apologize if you felt that you were not given the same treatment as other patrons. That is never our intention! We are in the middle of a remodel and will be adjusting the flow so everyone is accounted for. We hope to serve you again the next time you are through to see if we can do a little better than last time. Thanks again for your thoughtfulness!

A family friendly casual dining style restaurant with a New Orleans theme. Authentic Cajun food serving gumbos, etoufee, red beans and rice, as well as fried seafood platters. The owner is from New Orleans with family in Cajun country!
No ac inside. Little warm during out visit. Not a lot of options. Mostly fried options or cajun stir fried. Great place for a person wanting gumbo. They give you six options to try. I do not like soups or gumbo, but I did sample them and have to say at least 3 if them had a wonderful flavor. The Shrimp Alfredo was disappointing. The shrimp was good size and fresh. The alfredo was tasteless and watery. Lemon wedges could not help this dish. Based on reviews I tried the hush puppies, ours were overcooked. I did not see the fuss about the beignets, I am glad I ordered one. Good place if you like fried catfish, large portions and my husband said it was good.

Iâm usually a little skeptical of local coffee shops and cafes but the Pagosa Baking Company was great!! We had the quiche and it was great. The coffee (Americano) was great, just the right robustness and flavor (no chicory flavor). The staff were incredibly friendly and genuine. Keep it up, it works.

Finally got to this establishment after a lot of visits in Pagosa and happy I did so. I am not a sandwich lover most of the time but wanted an afternoon snack so my wife and I split a sandwich here. It was very large and tasty, loaded with meat and other goodies we selected. Did not try a breakfast sandwich this visit but likely in the future.
