In the centre of Osnabruck amidst its bustling evening restaurant crowd, the Peter Pane offered an inviting atmosphere which drew us in. Service was prompt and efficient and the staff engagingly warm. The menu is limited by design but what we had sampled the burger menu and the salad menu and was not found wanting. We really liked this restaurant and would certainly recommend it.

Inspired by the extra ordinary good reviews. The burger I can agree are delicious. The sizes were standard , all inside was fresh . My expectations , I admit , was higher. Nothing really I can complain. Additionally french fries were served. Also in combination with a small salad. The fries were okay , the salad with home dressing and hand cut salad. We tried to make a reservation. On their webpage a button for reservations are placed but without function. We left a note on the mailbox of the offered mobile number. At least we arrived and they couldn't find it. No reservation. We got food next to the cold entrance . The beer list is okay, hard to understand why some brands are printed on with the n/a sign. The ordered Budweiser was out by a more or less easy excuse . No suggestion for another beer. The food took 45 minutes , long time for a small restaurant like this . At least the prices are all overpriced . Atmosphere is okay but filled with students. Not everyone's style. Recommended place at all, but be aware, there are lot restaurants in OS

great spot! service and kitchen staff are amazing, food is really good. booking advisable.I came here by myself after checking the website and some reviews - having high expectations I was not disappointed! As I am allergic to wheat/gluten, dairy and walnuts I had (despite checking their menu online) some questions regarding their dishes. I had the chance to speak to the head chef, who was absolutely patient and considerate in regard to food allergies. All my requirements have been accommodated. Also, the waitress I spoke to first was absolutely patient and knowledgeable as well, she also gave accurate advise in regard to portion size and choice of dishes. The gluten free bun comes at +1€, it was an actual bun and tasted nicely. It was only slightly toasted, but a separate kitchen area was used (despite having only small space). Also, the fries were prepared in a separate fryer.I had the vegan burger without the walnut-date-mayo, which it absolutely did not need, as the coconut curry sauce was very rich in taste. The amaranth-buckwheat-patty was incredibly tasty, texture, as for most gf patties, is quite soft. To my taste, the fries were a bit too salty, but texture was immaculate.Fries need to be ordered in addition to the burger, the portion size of both is really filling, light eaters may do without the fries absolutely fine (as has the waitress said as well). The burger was definitely prepared freshly and one can watch the chefs in the halfway open-plan kitchen space, so no secrets there.Prices are a bit higher, however, it is definitely worth every penny.Highly recommend!!
