It is one of the restaurants located at the Maumee State Park Resort
This is for the restaurant. Waterâs Edge. Three different attempts over this past weekend all had about the same result - nobody in this restaurant knows much about great guest service. I was IGNORED at the podium on day one. With a âSupervisorâ about three feet in front of me. Day two and I watched two families be told it would be a 20 minutes wait, while we all stared at AT LEAST 20 empty tables. Before the âwe had reservations coming in excuseâ, Iâll say we did sit down and eat and 15 of those 20 tables never had someone at them over the next 90 minutes. Day three - helped the manager discover that their phones were turned off, which was why we could not get a hold of them for the prior week to make a reservation. Now onto our meal. Our server was very friendly, and all three of us really enjoyed our meals. Hot food, good flavors, and we had a variety of entrées. The server constantly apologized for the time it was taking for everything. The pace of the meal was perfect, all I could figure out is that she was so used to having an âolderâ crowd, that apologizing was her default mode. 90 minutes for a dinner was perfect, especially with appetizers. She also apologized that our appetizer plates were Mis-matched, and it was the first of three times she mentioned how busy the kitchen was because of weddings that were being served. Weddings are booked months in advance, no excuse to not be ready for them and what they will do to the rest of your food and beverage operation. The views from the restaurant are spectacular, the food was really good, but the service and management were so poor that it would be really really hard to eat here again when we stay in the lodge next year. They kind of have a corner and dinner, because you have to drive basically 25 minutes into downtown Toledo to get to any other type of nice restaurant for dinner

We stopped here on our way to Maumee Bay after reading the reviews online and we were not disappointed! The sandwiches are wonderful! We wish we lived closer so we could visit more often! The sandwiches are big on meat, cheese, and flavor. They are not expensive at all, very reasonably priced and so much more delicious than Subway, Quizno's, etc. The subs are all named after New York Baseball teams which is awesome. Love the toppings (banana peppers, mustard, mayo, tomato, capicola, etc) Big YuM!

I had the fillets and rings with a couple of sides and a cold brew for dinner. The service was fast and the food was prepared perfectly. Good prices and a wide selection of chicken and beef entrees. The servers were attentive and friendly.

Itâs so refreshing to find a restaurant that is consistently good year after year. Weâve been coming to Real Seafood-both in A2 and Toledo- and have never had a bad meal. The Blue Plate Special was outstanding and sautéed scallops delicious. How refreshing to have cold items (coleslaw) served nice and cold and hot items (entrees) served piping hot. Thank you RS for your continuing high standards. Weâll look forward to our next visit.

They were some of the best fries I have ever had - and there were so many I gave lots to the friend would was with me.The pulled pork was good enough to eat without any sauce( although I tried both on my fries)The service was very fast.I would definitely eat here again.

Working thirds its not easy finding places that are open. Seen this place on trip advisor. Said was open decided to come in. Was instantly greated by the server Rodney. Was quick with the run down on everything. Did not have to ask any questions. He was great. Lot of wonderful delights on tap

Established in 1995 the Maumee Bay Brewing Co. operates out of the Historic Oliver House creating delightfully drinkable ales, lagers, porters, stouts and the like. Though potentially best known for brewing Toledoâs own Buckeye Beer, Maumee Bay Brewing Co
First floor bar with vaulted ceiling and lots of niknaks. Beers weren't really to my palette but there's a good selection. Service is prompt if a little impersonal at the bar. I moved to a table and service was much more friendly. Quiz night is early on Tuesdays if that's your thing. Very atmospheric room with all the antique and new brew kit on show. Prices are reasonable and there's plenty of parking around too.

Tony Packoâs gained world-wide fame when M*A*S*H character Corporal Maxwell Klinger, who was played by Jamie Farr, another Toledo native, made mention of the Packo restaurant in six episodes of the show. In a 1976 episode, Klinger says, âIf you are ever i

Stopped here for lunch. We both ordered the perch âlightly dustedâ sandwich with chips. It was so good! Wasnât loaded with coating. Iâd highly recommend getting the fish prepared that way. So much better than breaded with too much coating. Would return!

Registry is a casual elegant restaurant that is unique to the Toledo area. We serve the cuisine of our time that highlights our regionâs bounty. We focus on seasonally inspired shareable small dishes as well as offer a full selection of composed entrees.
Toledo is fortunate to have many excellent restaurants, but most offer traditional American / Midwestern fare. RB provides a whole new perspective & opportunity to sample extremely well prepared & presented worldwide cuisine. Last night four serious foodies had what only could be termed an amazing meal. We had ( and shared) the Cioppino, the Moroccan Braised Goat Shank, the Braised Venison & Bucatini Carbonara; all were delightfully pleased. RB also offers expertly prepared craft cocktails and a well-constructed wine selection. Service by Jackson was attentive, professional, but not intrusive. Just a lovely evening & highly recommended!
