Eckl's Restaurant, established in 1934, is a long standing Southtowns destination. Known for its roast beef - carved right in front of you - Eckl's is a dining experience like no other in Western New York. Other signature dishes include lobster bisque, fi
Ordered a fish fry on Friday, Nov..30 at Ecklâs restaurant in Orchard Park,. The fish fry was not on the menu, but a specialty of the day. The waiter read the specials so no price was given. My meal included a battered haddock fish, cole slaw and fries for $18.My wife ordered a broiled fish and asked for a baked potato. She was told no substitutions were allowed on the menu. For an additional charge she ordered the baked potato. It turned out to be $19 for her fish and cole slaw plus the baked potato at $6 for her total of $25.The exorbitant price for the fish, which was like a piece of rubber and the substandard service were a disappointment of the evening. Needless to say, we will not go there again or recommend them.A

As a family who eats keto, we were excited to stop here for lunch. So we ordered our burgers with no buns, no fries, which we recognize is not standard order. However the Caesar salad was full of wilted lettuce and huge core end pieces, which has nothing to do with our complicated order. Two of our four Burgers showed up with buns, and we had to send them back. My broccoli came without butter, and when the butter came, it tasted like the fake butter they put on movie theatre popcorn. And the wait time was far too long for a 2 p.m. order.

My son and I stopped at Danny's South before last weeks Bills game. Wings and hamburgs were very good and the beer was cold. The restaurant is about half a mile from the stadium and it is busy on game days. They do accept reservations.

Stopped in for lunch and so glad we did. The Gouda Mac & Cheese with Chicken Fingers were delicious. Also ordered the Smokehouse Chicken sandwich; layers of flavor, stacked with Gouda cheese, bacon, BBQ sauce, onion strings, lettuce and tomato on a hard roll and served with large side of crispy fries. MM MM good! This casual and rustic restaurant checked all the boxes for us. We enjoyed good food, great prices, nice portions, and excellent service by Anna, our waitress. We had a coupon for a free entree so our bill was only $16.31! By the way they have a large back room and huge booths so bring the family and enjoy a great meal.

O.P. Social is locally owned and operated, here in our hometown of Orchard Park. We are proud to serve an extensive menu of favorite entrées, small plates and sandwiches, plus a selection of artisanal pizzas, baked fresh in our brick oven. Enjoy a drink f
Was impressed before but second visit disappointing. All entrees came on huge mound of mashed potatoes. Hasnât that trend thankfully passed?House salad was essentially a tray of chopped iceberg Lettuce with scattered decorations on top. I stopped eating it. I expressed unhappiness to waitress who shrugged it off.Manhattan was well made. We MIGHT try again.

Taffyâs Restaurant has been a famous Western New York legend and landmark for over 66 years. Taffy senior, whose family name was Taffolo, was originally of Lebanese descent and when he first opened was famous for two things: his foot long hotdogs and his homemade Milkshakes!Today, his son Richard has taken over and still serves his celebrated hot dogs and shakes, but he has added a wide variety of new menu items. Taffyâs still has indoor seating as well as a very large terrace where friends and families can sit on old fashion wooden Porch Swings at wooden picnic tables. If you really want to enjoy a great lunch or dinner you must try Taffyâs Restaurant. You will not be disappointed.

Atmosphere is typical for a food chain however, the steaks are phenomenal. Both my husband and I ordered the Flo Filet, 6 ounce. It was serviced as requested, medium, and was seasoned perfectly. So very tasty and tender, definitely no steak sauce required! Our beginner salads were the strawberry and wedge choices. Very fresh and crisp field greens and romaine with delicious dressings. Entrees come with a warm wheat loaf of bread, yum! As sides to our filets, we both opted for the broccoli and it was fresh, not frozen. Large florets with a mild butter sauce. Excellent meal overall. Our waiter was a little quirky and some things that came out of his mouth were unbelievable. Asked what the house dressing was and, I quote, âitâs disgusting, a honey mustardâ. WOW, just WOW. Would return just for the steaks!

We had take out wings both medium hot and hot. As forewarned they both were very hot though delicious and meaty. Very filling. Would prefer slightly crispier. Caesar salad and broccoli cheese bites disappointing. Would return for less spicy wings

Charming Italian restaurant. Seven of us had dinner and a variety of meals. Most were quite good. The lasagna looked huge. My friend says thatâs her meal that every time. My veal parm was good but Iâve had much better. My kids enjoyed their pasta. Overall a very good meal.

Lucia's on the Lake is a New American / Italian Waterfront Restaurant and Bar featuring fresh seafood, seasonal locally sourced ingredients, and an eclectic menu of Italian, Seafood, and Contemporary American cuisine.
This a beautiful spot close to Lake Erie with lovely water viewing while drinking cocktails/wine on the upstairs outside deck. Ideal spot except for wires making it a somewhat obstructed view. Too bad food isnât served up there because not only lovely but quiet. Downstairs in the main eating area itâs a bit noisy and although windows with seats next to them, the view wasnât quite the same, especially since they kept moving the shades to protect those who didnât want the sun in their eyes, despite offering sunglasses for those patrons. We just wore our sunglasses because how often is that view available on a sunny Buffalo evening? The food was good, the seafood very fresh and tasty, sauces good, but the biggest drawback to this place is that the pasta is made elsewhere, and definitely stale compared to fresh house made pasta and risotto. And you really notice the flavorless stale pasta That really disappointed the four of us especially since early that week and the following night we ate fresh house-made pasta in two different terrific Buffalo restaurants. We also ordered the huge bruschetta plate and we did eat that all down. Pricy but decent.
