This is a take out hoagie & pizza place. You just walk in to a small counter and pick up your order. The griddle is right there. You can watch them make the steak & cheese hoagies. We'd heard good things, so decided to order a steak & cheese hoagie and a pizza. The first time I tried to order didn't work out because they only make pizza on certain days, during certain hours. I guess it's only when the person who makes the dough is working. This is hearty food. The steak and cheese had no shortage of cheese or grease. The bun was actually wet (they give you lots of napkins!). The pizza is square with a thick crust, sweet sauce and loads of american cheese. It's by no means health food, but tasted good.

A great casual fine dining restaurant. Family friendly with large portions and great prices. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. "Life's Too Short For Average Food"
Many one of a kind selections & daily specials. Never disappointing and the husband and wife owners are always checking customer satisfaction. One small negative tonight is that the server never refilled the drinks or bread, or asked. We can live with that and I still give it 5 stars.
Cangiano's has always made the best hoagies I have ever sunk my teeth into. In their new location, they have pizza and other wood fired oven delicacies. Do yourself a favor and eat there soon.

Jon Pierre's Cuisine ranges from appetizers to salads, sandwiches, Pizza, homemade pastas, steaks and homemade desserts.
I had the pleasure of trying their gnocchi with pesto cream sauce recently. The gnocchi were light, tender and VERY tasty. The pesto was fantastic. It wasn't too oily, it stuck to the gnocchi and was seasoned to perfection. Another local restaurant had been my favorite place for gnocchi, but they have been knocked off their throne by Jon Pierre's.

We stopped in 2 nights in a row for drinks. The first night they were having a martini special. I tried 3 different types. They were all delicious. The next night was fishbowl drink special. It was good too.Nice beer selection. Great atmosphere. Friendly staff and good prices. The food looked good. We were staying with relatives so didn't get a chance to have dinner.

We were visiting in the Scranton area and, frankly, got a bit lost when we were starving for lunch. We stumbled on this place and decided to take a chance, mostly because there was nothing else nearby. What a great accident! Besides the bar/restaurant area, there is an inviting patio. Regulars were greeted by name as they walked through the door, and there were a lot of regulars...no wonder...the food, the atmosphere, and the service were superb. Our sandwich was large enough to split, the fries were great, and the check was more than reasonable. The best compliment: If we lived nearby, we would be regulars, too. It was that good.

We visited here on our way to Canada and we really enjoyed our meal. The seafood chowder was amazing and fresh and their pierogies were fabulous. My husband didn't enjoy their pork sandwich too much - he said it was dry. Their martinis were excellent. The restaurant had a really nice vibe and the service was excellent. If we ever pass through Dickson city again we will definitely stop by.

Had a business meeting at Texas Road House. They quickly seated us, delivered delicious hot rolls. Steaks were perfect. Salad was fresh and appealing. Then they brought us a mouth watering steak and baked potato. I could not eat or drink another item! Simply wonderful

Went on a Saturday night and it wasn't packed so we got a cozy table for 2. We started off with an order of Onion Rings and 2 drinks. LARGE Portions here! My wife had steak Salad and I ordered the shrimp Caesar wrap. Both were very good and we received very good service. The only thing that stops me from issuing a 5 is the cost of drinks, pricy. $8.50 for a 16 ounce craft beer is a bit to high for me...
