This is a great place. Lots of great specials. The shrimp special is worth the trip on Saturday. The basket of sunnies is a treat any time. The Ruben is one of the best. The broasted chicken is ina class of its own. It is worth the trip any night. Great service and a very friendly staff.Thank you, Greg, for being "the best" customer. A new cafe offered by GROUPON.
Absolutely fantastic breakfast despite the prices. The food was not greasy. It was well prepared. The smoky bacon was to die for! I just should not have to wait for my coffee when it's not busy. And my dirty plates should be cleared when the server is done talking with us. Super disappointed in the service and the server admitted she's been doing this for a long time!! Good food and good service go hand-in-hand. Enough said.

Friday night dinner visit. Made reservations for two online. Check in went smoothly and not much of a wait for a table. Restaurant was quiet and not many guests. It was between 430pm and 5pm and it seemed to be a shift change. Was planning on getting the endless shrimp but decided on a sirloin steak and shrimp kabobs. I ordered my steak medium rare and it was way over cooked but didnt bother to send it back because I was given an extra shrimp skewer. Left full after having salad, rolls and drink. The guest with me had the endless shrimp and really enjoyed the ginger shrimp.Would return again, but not anytime soon. Wasn't asked if we wanted another beverage and it took a long time to get the check and then for the tab to be closed. Could of been better and was disappointed.

Late breakfast, ordered different things. Endless coffee and large portions make for a good Saturday morning meal! Omelettes and Eggs Benedict were delicious! Service was fast and friendly, too!

I having been coming in more often lately as I like the way the is laid out if I am coming in solo. The one thing I noticed is the last 3 times is that their servers and bartenders are very interactive with the clientele while doing their jobs. Besides that the wings and burgers and tots are yummy. My only suggestion is that they make the beer cooler. I donât like warm beer which means I have to drink it faster or chill the glasses. Just being constructive. Great property for a bar restaurant.

Stopped at D-Spot after hearing about them in a conversation at Voyageuer Brewing Company in Grand Marais, Minnesota.I drove 35 minutes out of my way and it was well worth it! By far, the best wing place I have been to! Fresh ingredients, great service, and a clean restaurant. Average prices are $7 for 6 wings or $12 for 12 wings. Some are a bit more, but make no mistake....totally worth it. This is best bang for the buck! They have great tap beers and serve Minnesota sodas.... no Pepsi or Coke.I will be back each time I'm in the Twin Cities! I should have bought a shirt so I could advertise for them! Yes....wings are that good!

We stopped in for lunch on a Friday while in the area. The menu offered something for everyone, and the daily lunch specials for $8.99 were plentiful. I tried the pork special which was great. My companion had the bbq burger on a pretzel roll, which was cooked perfectly.Sorry I donât have the name of our server, she was great!

We had a pleasant Saturday morning breakfast here. The food was good, both the skillets and the omelettes. Service was very pleasant although not always so prompt. Coffee cups tended to be dry with no refills in sight. Still, a good experience.

Recommended by Double Tree for quiet place to eat on Sunday after football crowds. This place provides simple American pub food, which is economical. They have extensive beers and dinning varieties for everyone: gluten free, vegetarian, steak, fish, and pasta and pizza. Friendly service. I enjoyed briefly chicken sandwich with side salad despite mash potatoes.Recommended for ease. Thanks for taking a moment to review us. We are so glad you could join with us while you were in town. We appreciate your business and hope you'll visit us again if ever you're in town!

Delicious wings in a huge variety of flavors: you are best off previewing before you go, or giving yourself extra time to look at the menu before ordering! Menu is arranged by heat level: the offerings will satisfy everyone from Minnesota meek tastes to flame daredevils. Also serves burgers, but we did not indulge. We had Johnny Appleseed, Buffalo Bill and Ben Grimm. Peanut curry Ben Grimm's were the superstar: great balance of flavor and spice. Seasoned fries were also terrific, served with special sauce. Service is hybrid: you order at the counter and the food is brought to you. Staff was friendly to a fault. Offers good assortment of craft beers and local soda. Plenty of parking.
