Over a year later, we ordered out from Boston Chowda again (actually 3 times in the 2 weeks we stayed). The clam chowda, corn chowda, and fish chowda were all excellent. As usual, we ordered some lobster rolls, too. Yes, the lobster rolls are expensive, but they are high-quality. The service is fast, polite, and effective. There is nice variety to the menu; but for the last couple of years we basically ordered only the chowdas and the lobster rolls, so we don't know much about the other foods offered. We suspect they are tasty, too.

This gem is located right in the center of town and near main roads. I have no hesitation saying the meal and service were exceptional. We highly recommend. Thus is a nice family-run business and they maintain a cheerful bright atmosphere. We all had great interesting tasty omelettes. And ingredients are fresh and healthy.A few notes: plan ahead to go. This place is busy. Every time we go, there is a waiting line. Parking on premise is limited but there is nearby street parking. It just requires consideration in advance.

Had a business lunch at The Loft, which I hadn't been to in years. 2 burgers, and an order of steak tips. All the meals were cooked incorrectly, all over done, though the burgers were good regardless. Service was above average, we didn't mention the issue with the meals so that is on us for not speaking up. Prices were reasonable, decent lunch menu to choose from.

Baba Ganooj (eggplant dip) was Outstanding. Veggie Kabobs Excellent (grilled onion, tomato, pepper). Labneh (yogurt cheese) Over The Moon! Like a thick sauce you can put on Everything. This could WIN AN AWARD. Reason I gave it four instead of five stars: Cucumber yogurt salad. Why not just make a real Tzatziki? Did not measure up and basically same ingredients, just processed differently. The Fatoosh salad was a little not crisp. And the croutons, toasted pita chips should have been much crispier. We would absolutely go back but it is a bit far from where I live. Just GREAT vegetarian and vegan food!

Great atmosphere. The lobster roll is scrumptious and the roll is perfect. Highly recommended. Worth the trip for the lobster roll.

2 couples joined together for a great fish meal. We arrived about 6 pm on a Friday and were seated right away. The service was very good as we never felt rushed. All had fish entrees. The summer shark was excellent. As were appetizers of Portuguese clam chowder (rather spicy), bisque, and NE clam chowder. We were a little surprised by the lack of a fried seafood combination. Prices were very reasonable (~$35 for appetizer, entree, and adult beverage.

Reserved a table for 6 for a family gathering. Our group thoroughly enjoyed the place! The food was wonderful. Appetizers (nachos and truffle fries) were scrumptious. Our entree orders were varied (steak; pasta; fish & chips; sandwiches) and were all perfect. The server was attentive, friendly and fun to interact with. Jamie, himself, came to the table several times to ensure our satisfaction. This is definitely and place we will revisit soon.

Cafe Hours: Monday - Friday 10am-8pm Saturday 10am - 6pm Bar Hours: Monday - Saturday 4pm - 10pm LaRosa's Cafe + Takeout Our Cafe offered a unique take on dining out. Our quick service style is unlike anything in the Northshore area. We offer gourmet sand
LaRosa's located on Barnard St. just off Rt. 28 (Main St.) in the town center. Two large town/public parking lots very close. It's moved from mainly a fast service to a full service restaurant during the last few years. Plus added outdoor seating. Food is excellent. Sandwiches, salads and Italian specialties. I've been for both lunch and dinner and it's always good. So's the service. If you're in the area don't miss this place.

Had a nice late lunch after a business meeting with a group of six. Would have been better not to squeeze six adults into a booth. Service was fine. Food was better than an average. Scollops were tasty and the veggies done perfectly.

âFolksy fixture with outdoor seating offering slow-smoked barbecue & southern fare, plus beer & wine.
I've eaten here at least a dozen times in the past two years, only for lunch, and always enjoyed the experience. Almost everything is good to excellent, servers are welcoming and the place generally feels cozy and comfortable.
