At first glance, you may want to pass this place up. But do not! Best Philly Steak Sub I have ever had. I don't care what you get, get it with onions. Man, they do something to those onions. They are great! Worth the drive, I don't care where you are.

I was traveling in the Newport area when a business associate recommended Andy's for lunch. We arrived late, about 1:30 pm, and the lunch crowd was gone. The pork chops were recommended and were ordered with mashed potatoes and green beans. Our server, Joann, brought our food in short order and catered to our every need. The pork chops (2 nice sized) had been rubbed with what appeared to be a dry rub and grilled to perfection and served with a tasty dipping sauce. The mashed potatoes tasted like they were homemade and could have used some gravy. The green beans were not canned and could have been frozen, but did not taste so. Portions were moderate in size, with the exception of the pork chops. Each meal was a bargain at $7.00 each. All in all a mouth watering and pleasurable dinning experience.

We dined here one night while traveling through Tennessee. We typically try to eat at local restaurants while vacationing but this was one of the few restaurants in town that was open past 9 pm. The waitress was attentive and the food came out quickly. The best part we were able to use a gift card that we had. It is located right off the highway so very convenient.

Stopped in because of the decent reviews but our experience left alot to be desired. The waitress was abrupt and unfriendly and when we finally got our food half of it was cold. Everything was apparently just pre-packed and frozen so the quality was definitely lacking. The worst part however was that everything tasted like old grease and cigarettes. If you're looking for good diner food, this ain't it.

Stopped for late lunch, most of our food was good with large portions but the French dip was inedible. They took it off the bill. Did not offer a replacement. Pricey but if youâre hungry and want leftovers, stop in. Kind of out of the way off the main highway.I'm so sorry that you did not enjoy your food. Our policy is to replace food !!! not sure why this was not done for you. We aim to please every customer that walks in !!! our goal is to provide the best experience for every guest....We have been in business for 45 years and plan on another 45 years of Fox and Hound. Visited last night while on the road. Chicken and Dumplings and Fried Catfish were very good, as weâve come to expect from this chain. Our service was even better. Trinnella H took care of our table, and she was wonderful.

All of the food is real home cooking. Real Meatloaf, Mashed Potatoes, Fried Green Tomatoes, Pinto Beans, Hominy and Corn Bread. The Banana Pudding is not from a box, it is real. So much more, I can't list it all. Not to mention the hand dipped ice cream. All of it on the buffet. A little out of the way over in Newport, but well worth the drive. If you are looking for a GREAT SOUTHERN MEAL, this is the place.Great folks too.

The restaurant sits behind another building and is somewhat hard to find, but this restaurant was awesome! My son, who is the pickiest eater ever, said the children's meal Chicken strips were the best he's ever had. Another son had the ribs and they fell off the bone and melted in his mouth. Hubby had steak and said that it was awesome! I had shrimp and another child had the hoagie sandwich-don't recommend those. Mac and Cheese was so good! Everything was great! Service was somewhat slow, but it was a busy Friday night. Definitely plan to return!

The Smokey Mountain area of Tennessee around Gatlinburg is a real tourist trap so I chose to headquarter my genealogy study in Newport, the county seat of Cocke County. There I discovered a fabulous little restaurant, Grill 73, that serves authentic Russian food. This food was the best! Friendly owners cook and serve the food in a beautiful atmosphere like no other! I highly recommend this restaurant located on the Pigeon River for fabulous food and scenery!
