SPIN New York 54 is an iconic ping pong social club with tables, a full bar, fantastic shareable menu and private room.
Good service, one of few restaurants close to duck into during downpour. Chicken sandwich was ok but sloppy. Good beer selection. Ping pong theme is cool.

A group of four men, of which I was one, ate lunch during our lunch break yesterday at this diner in a strip mall across the street from the county courthouse. It was quite busy at lunchtime when we entered, but we were directed to a table right away. Each of us had a different diner speciality, including a sandwich, a wrap, or, in my case, meatloaf and mashed potatoes with mushroom gravy. My meatloaf consisted of a couple of slices of normal meatloaf deep fried to golden brown. It was good, but I could not keep myself from thinking about all the extra calories. I had never seen meatloaf prepared this way before and I had mixed feelings about it. The portions are adequate but not huge. Everyone seemed to like what they got, judging by the empty plates by the end of the meal. The bill was fair for what we ordered. Best was their chocolate pudding which was rich and creamy with a strong chocolate flavor. This place is fine for lunch, but understand that it is far from luxurious and the cuisine is rather basic.

Salads are good. Hamburgers not great. They came out too fast to be coked from scratch. I asked for medium but it came out well done. Food could be hotter. Easy to park, clean, lots of tables.

Canât go wrong here. Great sandwiches, matzo ball soup, knishes and potato latkes-all top notch! And Dr Brownâs soda to wash it down.

Excellent assortment of freshly baked, deliciously chewy bagels. Plenty of accompaniments, no matter your taste. Smiling, attentive and professional staff will get you in and out quickly...or relax at inside tables and enjoy your brew or beverages. D. Slater, New City

Michael's on Main offers a "Sunset" menu on Sunday through Thursday nights with a fixed price of $23.95 for a five course meal---Bruschetta, appetizer, salad, main course, and dessert with tea or coffee. A good deal with good offerings. Our waitress Mabel was pleasant, knowledgeable, and efficient. The noise level in the small dining area was rather loud during our visit. The small bar area is attractive and inviting.Appetizers were eggplant rollatini, crab cake, stuffed clams, and mussels fry diablo which were very good, but didn't seem to be fra diablo (which was okay since they tasted so good). The regular menu had offerings of chicken, veal, beef, pork, lamb, and fish. We decided to order from the 'Sunset' menu: chicken marsala, stuffed sole, chicken francese, and baby lamb chops, which were tasty but had to be sent back for a little more cooking: much better. Everyone enjoyed his/her meal and we never felt rushed. An enjoyable evening in a good restaurant. On site parking, full bar, major credit cards accepted.

Blue Fig has really good food. Salads Are especially good. Portions are large. My only issue is that in cold weather every time the door opens the cold air gets in. Yes, they have a curtain across the front that helps a little but itâs still chilly. I much prefer the outdoor patio or even inside when itâs warmer outside. Iâll wait or at least try for a table in the back.

One hour drive away from NYC. Perfect spot for after a hike. The service is quick and good. The burger and fries are amazing. I believe the owner of this place is also the owner of District 96 Brewery, which is connected to the burger loft.
