We went to Carriage House last night for a light repast. We ordered the soup du jour and appetizers and a bottle of wine. The food, the service, the atmosphere was all wonderful. Looking forward to coming back & having their special French themed dinner.

Froehlichâs Bakery & Deli is well known as the destination for people who prefer Simple, Fresh, Nourishing, & Authentically Delicious Food. During the past 25 years weâve enjoyed collaborating with local farmers & foodies in a way that allows us to provid
In town on a family matter, we lunched at Froehlichâs and very much enjoyed the experience. Historically a bakery, which still exists directly across the street, we ate lunch in what appears to be a retrofitted department store facility, complete with the stamped sheet metal ceiling tiles. This is a very well done remodel, with clean, modern lines and a menu with a wide range of options. I donât suspect cocktails were served at the original bakery so thatâs an addition as well. Members of our group enjoyed shrimp poâ boy and grilled cheese sandwiches, hamburgers and salads. Everything seemed to be very well received. Froehlichâs is easy to find in this small village and itâs close enough to the interstate to drive over for lunch and a change of pace. A stroll down the main drag will put you in a different place. Certainly Iâll remember that option. I only wish I could have justified purchases from the bakery as all their fare was mouthwatering.
The long line should have been a warning that things were moving slow! The barista at the register whined to her coworkers about needing a break the entire time we waited. The barista making the drinks was more obsessed about wiping and re-wiping the counter, leaving drinks in the blender containers while she picked napkins and other garbage up off the floor and even off her shoes, we left when she went back to pouring drinks without washing her hands. This was a perfect example of workers who hate their job and want those around them to know it.

We showed up about 6:30pm on a Monday evening, looking for an easy meal. The dining room was pretty full and there was just one waitress on in that section even though there were plenty of employees on premise. Delay in being greeted, rushed service, plates were not cleared away, average food for our family of four. Certainly not the Certificate of Excellence I expected.
We went on a Friday night as Nowhere had been known for a good fish dinner. My daughter, son- in-law and two granddaughters, wife and I. It was like walking into an ashtray. They have changed their policy to smoking and no children. We were only to happy to leave.

Prime rib, seafood & wine in a former tavern converted into a cozy, upscale eatery.
What can I say? A 14-ounce prime rib that melts in your mouth, fresh, perfectly cooked vegetables, and true service with a SMILE. Yum!! Go there! You'll thank me! :>)

We were in this little town for a volleyball tournament and were so pleasantly surprised by this great family restaurant! We actually ate there twice in 1 day, an entire groupnof parents and girls. Everyone enjoyed it! Check out the hours though.
This is a locally owned and run breakfast and lunch place. A local hangout but not surprising to see license plates from any of the 50 states. Sitting right on the highway it is an easy stop. All your breakfast and lunch favorites are available huge pancakes, omelets, home fries and biscuits and gravy, burgers and fries or lunch specials. Booths, tables and a lunch counter are tended by some very pleasant waitresses that make sure your coffee cup is always full. There is nothing fancy here just great food and service.
Thanks to Trip Advisor, we tried this place for pizza. We didn't even know it was here!! It is a little hidden. You have to turn off of Michigan and come in the back entrance. We did not know where we were going and entered in the exit driveway off of Michigan. Well, luckily nobody was driving out! The place was bustling on a Saturday night and we were very pleased with the friendly service and delicious pizza. We used to go to Stevetty's for pizza and couldn't find anything close to that quality until now!!

I am Irish and Scottish so after hearing good things from friends we had to try it. I ordered the Irish Egg Rolls appetizer, huge portion, a meal in itself, very good. I also ordered a cup of Irish Potato soup with a mashed potato scoop in the middle, amazing creamy cold weather comfort soup. I do NOT drink beer, never have, do not like the taste or smell, but I asked our server if I could have a small sample of the Guiness, I was surprised that I actually liked the taste, to me it had a kind of coffee, chocolate, creamy after taste, I wouldn't drink a whole pint but I liked the taste I had. I ordered the Brisket sandwich after our very friendly server Alexis told us they cook and smoke the beef brisket, ribs, etc... on-site. The brisket was perfectly cooked, firm but falling apart moist and tender. I can hardly wait to come back next week and try Shepherds Pie and Ribs. I highly recommend this Pub.
