Amazed. Tasty burgers with local ingredients from the bakery MilleFeuilles and the butcher BouchersDoubles. Creative drinks and revisited burgers. Cooking 'saignant' of my double layer pepper burger was super; taste of the meat was amazing. Got also a Belgian Mojito ... I did not know what to expect... and it was definitely very creative and good: Liefmans fruity bier, lemon and lime juice, ice blocks, mint, candy sugar in large crystals. Nice welcoming decor and atmosphere.. and on top friendly staff with relatively fast service even if the restaurant was fully occupied.Advise: book in advance !

Located close to the railway station the Grand Central is really not a common Brasserie-Taverne. The food is elaborated, well presented, affordable and varied. The service is well organized, always with a smile, very personalized. A lot of attention and creativity for this establishment with a lot of character. Do not hesitate a second ... and book in advance. Less than 40 EUR/pers, wine included.

Located in McArthur Glen shopping mall with many name brand shops, Joe's is a reasonable option for lunch. The Formule is the burger of your choice (a dozen possibilities) with fries or salad and a drink for 11.90â¬. A euro cheaper for the formule with salad. My husband had the burger of the month--beef, chorizo and a fried egg. I had the "vegan" which is not vegan but rather vegetarian--generous serving of grilled mozzarella cheese, pesto on both sides of the very nice bun, lettuce and lightly grilled tomatoes.

Stopped by for a drink, but since the menu looked interesting we decided to stay for diner. Not a wise decision.Waiter Laurantin friendly, polite, smiling while running around alone to get everybody served. At 18.00 two female colleagues arrived and took over service on the terrace.Not really smilling and one of them downright grumpy.Then the meals:1. Chief steak, taste OK if it would reach the advertised weight is doubtful, very wet with watery liquid. Corn OK, Fries fine.2. Elvis Steak, after cutting of a lot of lard the remaining meat was OK, very wet like the Chief steak and definitely not reaching its advertised weight of 450 grams, estimate about half of it3. Giant Marilyn Salad, First of all served by waitress with her thumb firmly poking in to the salad. Not really hygienic. The salad it self was just a huge dish of green salad, a few strips of salmon, 2 tomatoes cut in half, a tasteless dressing. Would have served a rabbit or a cow perfectly, for human consumption not advisable, specially having to pay 13,95 for a lettuce which you can get down the road at the supermarket for one euro. (this was the only meal available for gluten intolerant persons, definitely a point for improvement)Positive point was the interior, clean, nice decoration, but that doesn't fill the stomach!We will not be back!
