We have been going to the Lure since it opened. We love the setting, food and people. Wonderful dinner for everyone on Mother's Day! Very busy but on time and delicious. Tom and Joni designed this place to cater to everyone, kids and adults. Beautiful decor and property. Love to go there. Keep up the good work!!

Although this place is a little bleak ...meaning picnic tables to sit on and you pick up your own silverware and napkins at a service area, the FOOD is great. It is true Bar-B-Q without question! The stuffed baked potato is the bomb. Whether stuffed with pulled pork or brisket, you can't go wrong. Many dinner options also but I've only been there for lunch.

Excuse from hostess small kitchen. Waited 1 hour 15 minutes after we were seated. Had to ask waitress if I get a salad or soup with my seafood platter she said she was new. Hmmm not going back. Hi husbands sirloin was super salted. I think itâs a fish fry place only on fridays. Very disappointed DebbieKeepsake, I hope this notes finds well. We have sent your feedback to the personnel concerned. I apologize for this bad experience. This is very disappointing to hear, but we hope you give us another chance to make it up to you. Our visit with three couples was mixed. A number of our guests had the Walleye. One lady experienced a number of bones and another noted a number of 'off taste' pieces. My nightly special of salmon with shrimp was very good and cooked properly. There is a pleasant bar area and the entire restaurant is reflective of the North Woods supper club vibe. We felt that the 'value' of our experience was just average with prices higher than one would expect.

I was searching for a place in the area that served king crab legs. They seem to be hard to find on any menu around here! I was so excited when I saw you can order a combination of steak and 16 oz of sweet split king crab! For $3 extra, my six ounce tenderloin was upgraded to an awesome ribeye. My husband had the 20 oz porterhouse, which just seemed huge on his platter. Needless to say, we both brought steak home for another evening! Can't wait to try the shrimp next time. Oh, the salad bar is small but the pasta krab salad, broccoli salad, and macaroni salad were really good.

Who knew in the Middle of Wisconsin I would have the EXTREME PLEASURE of enjoying a MIRACULOUS BURGER......I will, in all future trips, find a way to get to this GEM......Only down side to this entire dining experience was the flies in the restaurant.....But even they could not hinder the JOY of the first bite.....The Unsweet Tea also was AMAZING......and the HOME MADE CHIPS were EPIC.....EllenHolmes67, we are so honored and pleased to receive this outstanding rating and review. Small place, with very friendly staff. We were from out of town playing golf and stopped by afterwards for dinner before driving back to Lake Arrowhead. Amy our waitress was very friendly, not rushing us and giving us prompt service once we placed our orders. Yea we were looked at when we walked in, as many locals go there and the staff knew them all by name as they served them, Worth the visit and eats were good

My husband go there occasionally for a late breakfast or for lunch. The waitstaff is very attentive whether or not you are their customers. The soups, salads, and pies are excellent and perfect portions are served. The prices are very reasonable. I always feel at home when eating there and most of the time, I know someone else eating at another table.Mary Wright
