What a fun place the Marina is! You'll see everything from nice-casual attire to swimsuits and flip-flops. They have simple, straightforward fare -- a full menu with something for everyone. The pizza was especially good. Service wasn't super fast, but it was super friendly, and most everybody is there to relax and take their time, anyway. It's totally family-friendly, with lots of kids around. If you sit on the screened deck, you can watch boats and jet skis motor in and out of the cove, and their passengers ambling up the hill steps to the Marina. The "people watching" was incredibly entertaining! There is a new outdoor bar (within the screened deck), and large picnic tables, as well as regular tables, for seating. There is a playground for kiddos, two sand volleyball courts, and corn hole games in the outdoor area -- you can easily monitor your charges, or just watch what all's going on, from the screened deck. There is also outdoor seating (picnic tables with umbrellas), and a stage area where various local live music acts and karaoke are hosted. There is also indoor dining, and a gift shop area. All-in-all, The Marina seems to be the fun place where it's all happening!

Our first experience of ML Edwards was a lovely evening dinner as guests of new local friends. What a wonderful surprise to find a unique choice of upscale small-plate offerings (which were more than ample, even to share), each presented beautifully. The wait staff was super friendly and attentive. Our waitress, at our after-dinner request, graciously gave us a tour of the upstairs meeting and event space -- it is gorgeous, especially at night looking down on the lights of the plaza. The next day, we went back and I shopped while my Love had an afternoon snack of coffee and a gourmet muffin -- it was perfect! That night, we went back again and had a glass of wine to cap off the evening. We can't wait to go back again and experience more of everything ML Edwards has to offer!

The good reviews enticed us. Adorable home town cafe. The food and conversation was wonderful. We had a grilled chicken and fried chicken salad that were both done well. The shining glory was, of course, dessert. She had a sugar-free coconut cream pie that was scrumptious. You could not tell it was sugar-free. They donât always have it, but we lucked out today. The Cake Lady Bakery Cafe is a good choice.
