This was our first visit to Moonlight Landing and the food was very, very good! My father had the all you can eat fish and the pieces of fish were huge! I had the perch and it was some of the best perch I have ever eaten - the pieces of fish were very big! Others in our group tried the walleye and again - they loved it - and the piece of fish was giant! We added the salad bar for $1.99 extra and it was well worth it! Very tasty bloody mary to drink as well!

They had a new sandwich it had apples, and celery on it with great bread. Like a salad spread. Different but liked it. I had a meal so I got a drink and fries with it. Wish they would have had soda caffeine free. The food was good.

I was cruising down highway 153 between Stratford and Mosinee when the sign caught my eye; âHog Creek Bar. Instantly thoughts of âRoadhouseâ flooded my mind and I was transported back to Swayze and Elliot. Intrigued I slowed down, went into the bar, and parked my keyster upon a stool. Moments later a friendly waitress appeared, took my request, and returned with a beverage. My desire was to try the haddock so that is what I ordered. In the meantime one of the locals caught my ear as we struck up a conversation. In no time at all the gal returned with my food. I was so amazed that I asked her for the time on the computer order slip and compared it to the time on my phone â 5 minutes. It was a pleasure delving into the hot steaming fries and fish. There were no celebrities or movie stars in that place, however, if my haddock had a name I would have asked for its autograph. It was oh, so, good! It will be a pleasure to visit the âHog Creek Bar again someday.
For real nautical decor, very pretty blues ... Figured a place with the water right their and the boats, well they may have a good fish sandwich? Hmm I asked the waitress and she said they were going to put one on the menu.... The sandwich I got was great, and for $6 somethin. Prime rib was 17$ for a 10 oz. Was 'OK'. Nothing to go out of your way for. Maybe if in area on a Saturday night and want some food...

This small-town home style restaurant offers excellent food and great service. We waited for over an hour at a nearby restaurant for a Wisconsin Friday fish fry, gave up and walked one block to the Mosinee Cafe. Our table was ready immediately (much larger space), and beverages on the table. We had our meal in front of us in about 15 minutes. And it was good and much less expensive!!The following day I attended a baby shower in their private back room. It was great! The restaurant prepared roast beef and turkey for our sandwiches, just delicious. Consider going there for your next breakfast or other goody event!

We had just a perfect visit to the Green Mill. Nice selection of beverages on tap to start our visit. My wife had a salad with a main of Mac and Cheese with Langostino I had a dish called Lasagna, but could be best identified as cheesy pasta with a spicy sausage and bolognese sauce. The mains were totally terrific, salads good and beverages fantastic. Wish this place was near our home. We had great service from Dan our waiter and hope you have him as well. Thank you! We appreciate the great review and weâre thrilled to hear you enjoyed both of your visits with us. Weâre happy to hear you also received great service from Dan during your visit, and that you enjoyed all of your meals. We hope to have you back in again the next time you're in town! Have a great day.

Nice local bar/restaurant. Good prices and great specials. Fun place to people watch. We were there for dinner and there was a family birthday party taking place with people of all ages. Has the feel of a local bar but is inhabited by all ages. A lot of people having fun as everyone seemed to know one another. Everyone was very friendly and the food was very good.

Went there with group for breakfast. Staff is very friendly... almost all meals were served hot and found to be very good. Mine apparently was the exception as my french toast was served dry and cool, by the time I received butter to put on it, my eggs were cold. Prices were normal. Coffee and juices were excellent

Finally gave this place a try. Went on Friday night. This means fish fry Friday in WI. My wife and I tried a few different items. Tried fried and sautéed fish. The fried cod was better then the sautéed. Saute means drenched in garlic butter. The sautéed shrimp was better then the fried shrimp. The sauteed scallops were very good. The cole slaw was excellent. Also the clam chowder was very good. They have a fairly extensive menu. Iâd definitely go back and try the items I stated. I look forward to trying other items on the menu.
