We drove from far away to have dinner at The Fort and we arrived about an hour early before our reservation. We drove into Morrison to kill time and stumbled upon this place. Great bar, appeared to be mostly locals. The bartender was fantastic! I wish I had asked for his name. Cool bar with a patio and game room in the back. Great place just to hang out and enjoy Colorado.

Unless you have a man size appetite plan on asking for a box. Excellent choice of food for lunch and dinner. Big surprise the prices include tax. Makes tipping easy.

Just finished visiting Red Rocks and decided to drive through Morrison. Tiny town. Someone had said there was an excellent wing shop in the area.We stopped. Ordered a 30 pieces bone in. 2 flavors- hot and honey bbq. Both flavors were really good but hit wasn't hot but still good. They said they came crispy but we wanted extra crispy. We probably could have gone a little more crispy but still good. Also ordered a side of fries and zuchinni with ranch. Both sides were good. Definitely get the zucchini again. The place is kind of a dive but well maintained and clean. We stopped around 2pm on a Thursday so they weren't busy which was nice.Wings were a good size so we had leftovers. Definitely visit again if in the area.

We were visiting Denver last week and sometimes found it hard to find a restaurant with something on the menu for everyone in our group. Before driving to Red Rocks, we checked menus and reviews online and decided to stop here for dinner. Here, everyone found something on the menu (fajitas, chicken fingers, tuna melt, and a burger). The restaurant was very clean, and the food and service was excellent. Red Rocks Grill was one of the best meals we had on our vacation! (One thing to note is that there is taxidermy in the restaurant, so if that bothers you, it might not be the best place for you to eat.)

We ate here for Easter brunch. All the food was good. It was set up buffet style. I was caught a little bit off guard by that for the price but oh well. All the staff was friendly but the service was slow at our table, also disappointing for the price. There were plenty of staff standing around but they were mostly doing just that.

Great subs and they are huge . But the reason I didnât give them 5 stars is they are very pricey. The subs are made to order and they taste really good. But again they are pricey

An award winning and nationally acclaimed âtruly Coloradoâ restaurant, The Fort is located in Southwest Denverâs Red Rocks Territory. Specializing in regional game, such as bison, elk and quail, as well as seasonal fish and hearty vegetarian fare influenc
Having eaten here several times in the past we were prepared for an overpriced dinner and the Fort did not disappoint. Our server was attentive and helpful but the meal was grossly overpriced. The special, a BBQ platter, was overdone and dry. The duck was better but not worth the money. The quail appetizer was mostly bacon. The dining area is crowded and noisy. You do not get what you pay for.Dear Doug K,I appreciate your feedback and continued patronage, and am disappointed to read your latest visit fell below expectations. I appreciate you bringing this to my attention and hope you will consider returning for a future meal.Holly Arnold Kinney, Proprietress

The food at The Cow an Eatery that we've enjoyed is a "B". Sandwiches are reasonably good but could benefit from more turkey, ham, bacon, lettuce, and tomato for the price charged. Service was very good and the outside and inside atmosphere is very nice on any Colorado day. We'll be back looking for other options to try, and hope the fries can be made and served a bit hotter. At a minimum, patrons should request this.RoadWarrior_CHThank you for the review, we appreciate the feedback. Please let us know any time you are on site to have something like cold french fries fixed by our staff. We hope you have a great day and visit us again soon.

Friendly, upscale/casual, neighborhood bar and grill specializing in American enhanced classics. Twin Forks Tavern utilizes the freshest ingredients available in a comfortable atmosphere. Professional staff. Private dining room available for special event
Tasteless and overpriced. My daughter ordered beef medallions, and did not finish them. I ordered ranch dressing and they do not have it, it is the only salad dressing I care for. Also did not carry the wine my daughter in law drinks. Some of the items on the menu were not available.I am very sorry that you did not enjoy your experience at our restaurant. I only wish that you would have given us the opportunity to provide your daughter with a different entree if she was not happy with her choice. We strive for everyone to have a great evening. Thank you for allowing us to serve you. Have a very nice Easter.
