Local farm to table. Retail, restaurant, full bar, grocery, catering on/off site, affordable high end, local organic. Serving breakfast, lunch & dinner. We are now pairing specialty martinis, ecclectic wines, and craft micro brews!
Excellent food, wide choice, including gluten free and vegetarian options. Dropped in for lunch after seeing the Black Canyon, enjoyed it so much we went back for dinner that night. It was good to see a small restaurant in a country town offering healthy options.

In town for a golf tournament and had a very good dinner seated at the âbarâ. The bartender/Manager Jason has great attitude and customer service skills. I had the mussels with fries appetizer, generous quantity of mussels ($14)although I like a more traditional âbrothâ then the âGuinness beerâ recipe they have. I had a fantastic salad with steak added on ($14), the Blue Cheese dressing I choose was delicious, and the cut of steak was like filet mignon it was so tender. Beautiful decor, and the outside dining area overlooking the golf course is quite nice.

We had a party of 9. Celebrating a birthday. Great service and terrific food. Weâll be back. The wine list was not large, but it was varied for both tastes and budgets.

First time I wanted to go here when I had just flown in to Montrose. Looked at TripAdvisor, #11/63 restaurants in in Montrose, Google get me there! I thought Google maps had screwed up when it guided me to the municipal hospital. Gave up, went elsewhere (the Vine Market, for the record).Next time I had learned that his really _is_ the hospital cafeteria. So I had to try this out. I was quite impressed, the Bison Burger I had was nice and juicy, condiments (ordered cooked onions and mushrooms) very tasty, personnel friendly. Several of the other dishes looked very attractive, too, e.g. the salads. And all very reasonably priced.A true find, I would never have thought of coming here. Too bad they close too early for dinner.

This Starvin Arvins is amazing. I have taken guests here on several occasions. We all order something different, and everything is wonderful. The portions are generous and well prepared. The big cinnamon rolls are to die for. The wait staff is always cheerful and very aggressive about keeping your coffee cup or glass full. Ask for Candace if you can get her--she's spectacular. It's always crowded (always a good sign!) but we've never had to wait very long to be seated. Don't miss this!

We've eaten here at least four times over the summer - lots of indoor and outdoor seating with a fun friendly causal atmosphere. The food is a bit hit & miss - loved their blue cheese burger & sweet potato fries, but other things I've ordered could definitely be improved such as the taco salad.

Owners Bill and Kim Volk opened the Camp Robber in 1994 in downtown Montrose, Colorado. The concept for this unique restaurant began many years earlier when the owner's love of the mountains moved them from Albuquerque, New Mexico to Colorado. While on ma
Don't know if our server was inexperienced as she was quite young but she had to get someone else to sort out the bottle of wine we ordered, had to be prompted for glasses of water and bought our bill without even asking if we wanted dessert (my husband was going to order but couldn't be bothered once given the bill). The food was reasonable but I couldn't say it was great, except fot the green chilli soup that was included with our entree. The green chilli pistachio pork had no flavour of chilli or pistachio. It was quite nice and a generous portion but just wasn't what I was anticipating from the description and it was served with far too much cream sauce. My husband chicken piccanta however, was good but pretty small. At least it meant though he could help me out with my dish. Both dishes were served warm rather than hot. I also felt the restaurant didn't have much ambience not helped by the fact that the decor and furnishings are all in a shade of drab brown. Personally I wouldn't rush back.Sorry about your experience. I will discuss with your server and work on her training better. Not sure about the decor part because our colors are rust, green and eggplant purples. It's nice to hear you enjoyed our housemade soup and the pork medallions are completely coated in green chile infused pistachios so there is not actual green chilies, if that is what you had expected.

We went here on a sunday night, as most other places are closed. Upon reading the other reviews its safe to say the clam chowder is very good! The vine selection is also very nice. We also had some steak that was prepared perfectly so really nothing to complain upto then. Unfortunately though the dessert was not so good, so i would recommend skipping that. The service was a little bit rushed and not very attentive but the place was full so i guess that comes with it...

A short wait on Saturday night was well worth it! Delightful meal in a nice atmosphere with excellent service. The entrees are served with bread, soup or salad, potato side dish, vegetables and a mini piece of cake! All delicious and very reasonably priced. Our server was from Georgia and was as sweet as can be! Ted was there and such a nice guy! Would definitely recommend if you are in the lovely city of Montrose. They close at 8:30pm and aren't open Sunday or Monday. They do take reservations. Plan accordingly!
