Itâs been a few months since we visited Jason and Monticello Pies and after tonightâs visit Iâm sorry itâs been so long. My husband ordered their large Cheese pizza, which for $10.00 is a steal! And I asked for their white pizza with tomatoes, garlic and spinach. Not everyone can make a good white pizza and this one surprised me. It was cheesy with a good amount of spinach and tomatoes, not heavy on the garlic which was nice. Jason and his staff are friendly and want to make sure that every customer is satisfied. You donât see that kind of customer service very often....especially not at that other pizza place on Dogwood Street! Highly recommend a visit to Monticello Pies for good, hot food, reasonably priced, in a friendly atmosphere. Thank you we appreciate your business!

Service is excellent.Pizza is average.Burger is good.Adequate selection of beer. You can eat outside.
The burger was generous, hand made and on a toasted bun! The fries were hot and seasoned. The buffalo tenders were spicy....need Blue Cheese with it! Small restaurant, friendly staff, lots of choices and daily blue plate specials. The price can't be beat....burger and fries only $6.50! No ambiance, but it doesn't matter, the food will keep you coming back!

"Moroccan Cheese Flat" : Fresh Naan bread (Indian flat bread), covered with a special Cilantro Lime Sauce, Oven Roasted Roma Tomatoes, a careful blend of spices, topped with Fresh Mozzarella Cheese, then oven roasted. A wonder to taste ! "BIKER'S BLT" : H
This was our one relaxing break on a 12 hour drive and it was perfect. We wanted a salad and the homemade chicken salad plate was fresh, flavorful and filling without being heavy. The balsamic vinaigrette was not your average dressing. We enjoyed the atmosphere and the ownerâs upbeat energy. There were other lunch options in town and we couldnât have been happier with our choice to eat here.

I found them on google
When we told friends that we were going to Monticello, we asked where good did could be found and was told: âTallahasseeâ. We knew there were local restaurants to be found. This is a breakfast and lunch place, primarily, but they open for dinner on Fridays and they serve a fish sandwich that was excellent. Service was great too. Well worth the visit.

This is the greatest organic bakery in the area. They bake their own bread daily and their sandwiches are the best yet. Great atmosphere and come in to meet all the local crowd to enjoy a perfect breakfast or lunch and very healthy to boot!
We just visited this cafe/bakery a few days ago. The food is outstanding! Our party had breakfast sandwiches (fresh biscuits with ham, egg and cheese), quiche and scones. The biscuits were tender and so flavorful! We flew home with a blueberry scone in our carry-on and had it for breakfast the next day in California. The scone was still bursting with flavor and not overly sweet. While they serve sandwiches, the cafe does not have a grill so typical breakfasts and lunches are unavailable. Nevertheless, this unassuming cafe is worth a stop! Adjoining the cafe is a gift shop, which sells beeswax and honey from local bees as well as related gifts.

Went to the Rev over the weekend. Fried green tomatoes were perfect. Cut thin, fried crispy. Topped with fetaâ¤ï¸Stuffed blackened flounder, filling was like what you would make a crab cake out of. Fresh & just the right amount of heat. Asparagus & greens were also tasty.Monti hamburger with fresh cut fries. Interesting flavor. Not sure about the satsuma jelly. Then the fried chicken. Looks like itâs fried perfectly, however itâs lacking flavor, very bland and extremely dry. Always enjoy their salads. Loaded with goodies & yummy dressings. We have been here multiple times now, sometimes their on & sometimes not.Never 100%
