Glad we stopped here on our way up to Corning, New York. Malik was our server. He did a very nice job. I got the sampler, Ham, meat loaf, and Chicken& Dumplings. (The Chicken was good, but I thought the dumplings were a bit doughy). My wife had the Turkey and it was a good pick for her as she enjoyed it. $21.50 for two for dinner is not bad.
We stopped here for ice cream on our way to Lewisburg. This place was like stepping back into the 50âs or 60âs. Had the old fashion coke machines, stools and tables from that era, old signs, Schwinn bike on the wall, etc. really brought back some memories. Like being in an old fashion soda fountain. The ice cream was delicious and the people serving it were very friendly and helpful . If you ever near the place, stop by, youâll really enjoy it. And the prices to me were really cheap.

I have been coming here for over 20 years and order the same thing every time I come! LOVE Chicken Carmello and look forward to it each and every time we come. Food is homemade, delicious, and always consistent.

Peter Herdic House is an elegant gourmet restaurant in a beautifully restored Victorian mansion situated on Williamsport, Pennsylvania's Millionaires Row. This fine dining restaurant specializes in serving sustainable, locally-grown produce and meats, in
The Herdic House is an historical mansion repurposed into an elegant restaurant. It is run primarily by the Miele family; experienced and top-notch restauranteurs. The main chef is a talented and enjoyable young woman named Liz. Their ingredients are sourced locally and always fresh - usually organic, free-range selections. There is always something interesting either on the menu or at the bar. Hannah is a main barkeep and is personable and pleasant. You can order an appetizer and have one of her special concoctions while you wait for a table or even for a brief step-in. You can be as dressed up as you like or you can be decked in business casual - even dressy jeans will do (but Iâd wear them with heels :-). If in Williamsport the Herdic House is a donât miss. My husband and I live close by and we stop in about once a month or sometimes more.

We had a business dinner here on a Wednesday night. The $15 Pittsburgh salad was supposed to be romaine and iceberg lettuce but was spinach, weeds and the dark green wilted outer layer of romaine that normal people throw away. The shrimp were dried out and fishy, and the fries were soggy and undercooked. They changed the sandwich bread and overall if it wasn't for the good server we'd be rating this as terrible.

Our Motherâs Day party of 11 was seated quickly on a Sunday afternoon, with a view of their awesome brick oven. The Charles Pizza, with arugula and a balsamic vinegar reduction, is my favorite! Their steak is better than some steakhouses Iâve been to. If you like calamari, order the âgrilledâ calamari - itâs a different and delicious version of that popular appetizer. Thanks for the review Gigi! Hope to see you again soon!

Drove 35 mins to try the place based on the reviews here and their menu. I had the german themed smoked roast beef with hunter sauce, spaetzle, and purple cabbage. The beef was actually the brisket cut. It was excellent. My husband had the delmonico steak with gourmet potatoes, carrots, and a salad. It was excellent as well. Great place!!
Had the chicken parmesan. Nice piece of chicken perfectly cooked. Came with a side if pasta, sauce on the pasta was really good. The wife had Eggplant parmesan sliced very thin and cooked a little crispy. Pasta perfectly cooked and the sauce was very tasty. Meals came with salad, bread and peppers. House Italian dressing was light and not greasy. Good olive oil. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Building is a work in progress, but still very nice. Will return soon
I stayed in Montgomery for a month last year and this lovely little bar was just down the road of where I was staying. There is always bands and events on at the Riverside Lounge with daily discount deals for food and alcohol. It's the stop for most locals after a long day at work and the bartenders know everyone by name. The bartenders are friendly, social, have great hospitality and the drinks are great prices. The food is just as good. I tried almost every burger, cheese steak and buffalo wing on the menu and all I can say is the cook is a true masterchef. Everything tastes amazing and they seriously have the best bar food ever. To top it off there's Happy Hour everyday with free popcorn, a digital jukebox, an ATM and pool tables. You can also get takeaway and they have beer and mixed drinks for purchase. Oh and did I mention it's also a smoking bar? I seriously miss this place!
