Montclair is known for its restaurants and The Corner holds its own against some stiff competition. Excellent baked eggs (kind of huevos rancheros-y), avocado toast (I toast the millennials for making this A Thing), chicken sausage, pastries, fresh juices. On top of that, great vibe and excellent service. Often crowded, but worth the wait and tables turn over fairly quickly. I have not been for lunch yet but plan to go back soon for that experience. Everything tasted fresh and flavorful and there are plenty of choices for picky eaters, foodies, vegans/vegetarians, gluten free folks, and piggies like me that eat it all.

First, parking. My wife and I searched in vain for a street parking place in front of, side streets, or rear of this pub. Maybe the third time around the block, my wife spied the Egan parking lot behind the pub! It's big, but the couple we met also missed it. The pub is excellent. Excellent food, extensive beer list. My wife is vegetarian, and there were a number of choices for her. We recommend the "Irish Toasties" (small toasted sandwiches with tomato, cheese, mushrooms and bacon). The Shepherd's Pie (here "Cottage Pie") was well done with small chunks of tender beef. My wife's salad topped with salmon she described as perfectly done and delicious. The wife of the couple we met complained of a cold. She had a Hot Toddy, and later turned to her husband and said, "Honey, order me another one of those. It's really helped!" We met for lunch on.a Saturday to avoid night driving, and stayed for three hours -- an excellent time.

This is a bustling, loud, crowded brunch spot, but the menu is terrific and both the food and service were terrific. Virtually everything you can think of as a great brunch dish is on the menu, and everything was exceptional. A bit loud to have a serious conversation, and there were definitely some screaming babies (unchecked) that made being happy a challenge, but the food and service made it worth a bit of suffering.

We are a Bakery/Restaurant serving fresh baked items as well as breakfast, lunch, dinner. We are open Tuesday through Sunday and we serve dinner every Friday & Saturday 5-9 pm. BYOB You can see all our menus on our website at Anthony's Cheesecake.
Anthony's Cheesecake is a cozy little restaurant on Washington St. In Bloomfield. The Entrees and appetizers are what you could call creative. They served "Irish Nachos" on St. Patrick's day. On other days they will have dishes that are a flair up and above the usual fare. Anthony and his staff are very personable. This is becoming a Bloomfield Institution. BYOB but they take good care of you. There is parking in a lot just a few feet around the corner. Easy to get to.

First, this is a bring your own booze place. There is a liquor store a block away so you can buy your stuff there. The restaurant is very accommodating in regard to whatever you bring in to drink. The service was excellent. The food was very good. We tried the Barada cheese, which is handmade⦠Delicious. We also had the veal and beef meatballs for an appetizer. It was huge! I had the scallops with cauliflower purée and it was delicious. The desserts were great too. Definitely a neat place, even though itâs quite small. Make a reservation using OpenTable.

Another delicious and fun time at Raymondâs. With so many new restaurants popping up on Church Street, Raymondâs remains a constant. Terrific waiters and wait staff. Wonderful food every time. Excellent fish tacos and 4 cheese grilled cheese is incredible. Homemade rice pudding and key lime pie finishes the meal.

The good: 3 couples and everyone liked their food, but for some reason we expected more. Service was very good but there was an annoying little error. Restaurant was trendy but also very noisy. Prices were a little higher than comparable venues. Overall, it was a very good restaurant but but I don't think we will be going back
