We arrived here on a Friday night around 6:15 pm and were seated immediately. It was just my husband and I for dinner. They brought complimentary bread and butter. It was fresh, warm, soft bread. The waitress took my husbands drink order and came back shortly to take our food order but we were not ready. It took awhile, which was fine, for her to get back to us. We placed our order and I ordered a drink. Our drinks took probably 10 minuets to get. It was very busy in the restaurant. We almost finished our drinks and the waitress approached us and said "I am going to check on your food" She came back and said it was almost ready. They brought mine out a short time later. My husbands arrived when I was almost finished eating. And it wasn't what he ordered but he figured if he sent it back it would be another 20 minuets or longer before he would get it. I got the pulled pork. It would have been fantastic except they put so much bbq sauce on it I couldn't eat it. It was drowned in the sauce. Too much can be a bad thing. The sweet potato fries and beans were really good. My husband said his fried shrimp was pretty good too even though that isn't what he orderedOur waitress was great, but the service is a bit slow, which was fine. We were not in a hurry. The place was pretty clean and had lots of parking. The attire was very casual. T-shirts, shorts and jeans.

Ate breakfast here, it was alright. It was indeed super filling. I had a large chocolate milk, and the country breakfast which included biscuits, gravy, & eggs. It was pretty good.Here's my bad. The chocolate milk was a little skimpy in the chocolate part. The biscuits and gravy had absolutely no flavor at all. Even after dousing it with salt and pepper, it was still a little bland. I gave at at the one in Cassville (not sure if related) and they are the same way.Now as for my wife's cinnamon swirl sausage egg and cheese sandwich, she lived it.We will be back some day.

Just thinking about eating again makes happy and hungry for their wings! The wings reminded me just a little before t like fried chicken, juicy inside & crispy outside cooked just right and the French fries were also really good. ( good sweet tea ). Attentive friendly service, delicious hot food served in a reasonable amount of time, it tastes freshly made and like it was made with care, Iâll definitely be trying to visit this place a couple times a month and will post a follow up : )

I don't know when I last ate a completely unpalatable meal. Oh, wait, it was last week when I attempted to make a pasta dish, but at least I was able to hold my nose and eat some of it. That was not the case at Chic Fish Kin. We left after just two bites each of the fish, chicken, and fried okra. It took two bites because we could not believe the first bite could be that bad, but it really was. The coating on the fish, chicken, and okra had no flavor and the food was rubbery. I wonder if the manager has even tasted his product. Needless to say, we will not be returning.We are a new Business using a different cooking method than most restaurants. We do not deep fry, or grill our food. Instead we are using steam convection ovens that can cook from 100% steam to completely dry air. We have had some struggles attempting to achieve "near fried" quality without the use of oil. Individuals use to fried foods will notice the difference. Our goal is to provide a "healthier alternative to the typical deep fried foods generally found in the market today.With respect to the customer that found the food to be worse than their own cooking, I can only express my regret that I was not made aware of the issue. We welcome candid comments offered face to face because without them we cannot improve our processes or compensate the customer at the time of their poor experience. Since the date of this comment we have made a number of improvements and hope that the author of this comment will give us an opportunity to demonstrate the improvements. If you are so inclined, please ask for me specifically and I will comp your meal.
