Swung in there for a quick bite passing through town after a long day on the road. Took forever to get our sandwich, and they were not busy at all. Food was great, but not worth the wait. Never had to wait this long at our Firehouse Sub in North Charleston.
One of the better fast food places in Moncks Corner, SC. The staff are friendly and the cooks are even better. One of the least costly of the fast food places with a great variety of sea food option .

Stopped here for lunch with my sister and friends. Great reasonably priced food with a local touch- they use recipes that have been developed in house for a long time. They are famous for their spaghetti (red meat sauce, homemade, out of this world), burgers (huge), and steak nights. I had the Frogmore stew (low country mix of corn on cob, taters, sausage, shrimp etc.) It was just the right combination of smokey/hot/shrimpy and a generous portion. Excellent service.

These Irish clown's don't know the difference between Hawg Jowls and horse dukey ! The worst BBQ in the state. Gas BBQ , Yankees will love this garbage. My mother ordered their sweet potatoes and their dressing for Thanks Giving. I have one arm and I can not eat sugar. (Chronic Phantom pain) That Irish mushy , salty , and discusting dressing . My mother cried when she after bring it home.

my wife and I went there for supper tonight. The food was very good. I had a cuba sandwich and my wife had catfish pieces. We were very pleased with the food and service. We have been her three or four times and have never been disappointed with our food.

We were a little reluctant to try Gilliganâs because of some of the reviews, but weâre glad that we decided to go see for ourselves. The Bacon Wrapped Crab Stuffed Shrimp was possibly the best appetizer Iâve ever had. Who wouldâve thought that you could combine three of my favorite things into one delicious morsel. The Shrimp and Flounder was also delicious and more than I could eat. The Mozzarella Sticks were also the best that weâve ever had. My wife had the Grilled Chicken and it was cooked to perfection. The waitress (I donât recall her name) was friendly and courteous. Although we were seated away from the rest of her section she didnât forget about us. She makes a pretty good margarita, too. The manager came and checked on us and was polite and courteous as well. The location was great with a great view. Next time that weâre in Moncks Corner weâll be visiting Gilliganâs again.

Stopped in for breakfast and was pleasantly surprised. Seems like one of those hidden local gems. Down home atmosphere with friendly service and good food. Had Pappy's Big Breakfast and it was fresh and hot with enough food to fill me up. Not sure about lunch or dinner, but seems like it's a place where the locals hang out.

Total disappointment. Was good in the past. Now terrible. Terrible food. Hamburger steak was 1/2 a McDonalds burger patty burned rock hard. Wifeâs Club Sandwich was a laugh. The few fries were good. We waited ages to be approached. Goy our own water. Had to clear the table to si. There is a table usually occupied by local business people. It was empty at lunch when previously full. This place has really gone downhill. It was even dirty. Prices also went up. Never again will we visit here. It was a bit of OD charm. It is now terrible.

We are new to the area and have been trying all the restaurants. This one is our favorite so far! Wonderful hometown atmosphere. You go in and go through buffet line first. Pulled pork, chicken, mac and cheese, veggies, delicious coleslaw. Server gets your drink order and delivers to your table. Food was great! Pulled pork was tender and choice of vinegar or mustard sauce. So good! Homemade mac and cheese was excellent. We will be back for sure.

If you find yourself in this small town, stop by and see this place. The restaurant is very pretty inside and great for a cozy meal. My food was okay. But my husband had the pot roast on special that day and it was divine! We also took home a piece of vanilla cake and really liked it too. They give decent portions and have reasonable prices for the quality of the food. Service was also prompt.
