This place is better than most of there other locations. The one in Wareham is the worst place ever. Hi, thanks for the review. We have addressed some issues in Wareham and are glad to say that location is on track. We hope you will come back soon and let us know how your next visit was.

Daily lunch and dinner specials, breakfast Saturdays and Sundays. Seafood, steaks, salads, pizza and more.
Today was our first time visiting the Hideaway. We showed up to late for breakfast so we were escorted upstairs. Upstairs is a pub setting with a jukebox and old time feel. We were not sure coexting too much but my goodness the good was delicious! My mom ordered sirloin steak and says it was cooked to perfection. It came with mash, gravy and butternut squash. My daughter enjoyed the turkey dinner with gravy and mash. I ordered the blt wrap and fries. Happiness all around. The menu has lots of home cooked comfort meals to choose from and the staff was friendly.

This place was amazing. The bacon Benedict and cranberry-walnut French toast were amazing. Prices were great and staff was very friendly. After dining here for over 20 years, our recent evening at Fireside Grille was the worst we have experienced. The service was unbelievably slow, because our waitress had too many tables, two of which were tables of large parties. It took over 20 minutes to get a glass of water. Not only was the food cold, the salmon was not cooked through and the broccoli couldn't even be cut with a knife. When the waitress finally returned to our table and heard our complaints, she said she would have the manager come over. However, the manager told her she was too busy. We were offered desert but declined. The Fireside Grille has been going downhill over the years, but never this bad. Unfortunately, long term customers mean nothing here. In the future we will be dining elsewhere.

We were recommended to the Central Diner. Don't think we would have gone in without recommendation, but it was worth it. Excellent service and atmosphere. Place seemed full of locals which is always a good thing. Pizza was excellent.

With fresh seafood and savory meat choices, like our bison burgers, you'll find an array of appetizing dishes for lunch and dinner at The Charred Oak Tavern. Stop by our family restaurant today for: Signature dishes, such as shrimp scampi, bison and chick
Four of us stopped here for lunch. Three of us had the lunch special, two of us had the salmon stir fry, the salmon had nice crisp top and was fresh and went well with the rice--both people said it was very good. One of us had the sweet potato veggie burger, it was very flavorful and delicious. I had the grilled chicken broccoli alfredo, the sauce was creamy and very good, the chicken was grilled perfectly. The portions were very good size. They have a nice beer selection not too large but good craft beer choices. We noticed the bar has a huge whiskey selection, so if you want try some different whiskeys this is the place. The décor is nice and the bar is fairly large. The service was fast and very friendly, attentive but not overly. You do not want to miss this place, we plan to return and maybe try some of that whiskey.

Went with family for our first visit. We had a reservation and were seated immediately. The staff are incredible and extremely well versed in assisting people with dietary issues. The food was excellent and very reasonably priced. Canât wait to go back again when we are in the area.

We are visiting the area and looked them up on Trip Advisor.. they deserve their certificate of excellence. The food was excellently prepared and the service was professional. We were served by Nicole who aside from providing excellent service was clearly proud of the restaurant. We may go back tomorrow

Great staff, great food, great drinks. It's great going to a place where you know people and even if you don't everyone treats you like friends. The atmosphere is fun and lively. One of the best local places to visit.

When I come to the States, I always like to visit an all American Diner, and Dave's Diner fitted the bill perfectly! The 50s-style Diner lay out and decor adds to the atmosphere, and the Breakfast menu - served all day - gives plenty of breakfast choices. I chose the classic Homemade Hash and Eggs, with Toast and Home Fries, with of course plenty of coffee refills. Perfect! Couldn't eat too many breakfast like this, or at least shouldn't, but once in a while, it's the business!
