Friendly service. We had pasta dishes, which had been pre-cooked and defrosted. Meatballs were crumbled. Low prices. Tasted fine for a small town pizza place.
The food is nothing different from any other subway. They never seem to be out of anything to my knowledge and bread is always soft and fresh. The staff always greets us with a smile and makes it just the way we like it. I even asked them to pick the stems out of the banana peppers and they chuckle and take care of me. Some other subways treat me rudely when I request this. Most of the workers are teenagers but are very respectful. One of our favorite fast food places in town.

We had a wonderful chicken pesto pasta meal here. We got there just before closing but they said no problem. We offered to take it out if they preferred but they said they'd be there awhile, and we could certainly stay. They couldn't have been more accommodating, and the dinner was fabulous.
Employees at the Pit Stop Kremery are always pleasant and helpful. My favorite flavor is peanut butter. When my Dad was alive, he would stop by frequently to pick up a pint. I love trying something new every time I visit here. Prices are decent and icecream orders are fast. Plus, they have specials (I think weekly?) for fun of course. There's tables to sit at while you thoroughly enjoy your icecream. My suggestion to the readers is please do stop here and get icecream! You won't be disappointed.

I ate dinner here while on a GAP bike trip. The crab dip was excellent, had a different flair combined with the cheesey soft pretzel wedges. My BBQ chicken sandwich was good. The wait staff was attentive, and the decor was fun. Biker friendly and central to everything in town, I'd go back again.

Stopped in her for breakfast before biking. Everyone was friendly. All of the patrons said hello. Had omelets and toast before setting off on the trail. Food was good and service was attentive.

This little diner, in such a quaint town, is truly the epitome of simpler times and almost lost mom & pop businesses.Enjoyed lunch with co-workers when breaking from our job at another longtime local business, F.B.Thomas Pharmacy. From friendly, hospitable staff and home like atmosphere to the tasty down home cooking with yesteryear prices, it was a treat to know places like this still exist. We all ordered something different and no one left a morsel. Good quality and quantities. And their peach pie was reminscent of the ones my mother used to bake. Flaky crust and stuffed with many peaches, not just the filling with a few peaches. Delish!Even though I live an hour & a half away, I would definitely come back to this gem to experience how life used to be, when people were respectful and kind to each other, to enjoy a good meal at more than reasonable prices.

I visited the White House Restaurant for dinner during a recent bicycle trip on the GAP, on the recommendation from the owner of the place I was staying for the night. The meal, and entire experience, was great. The service was very friendly. I had the fried chicken, which was excellent. It came with French onion soup, bread, baked potato, and salad - all for $14.99 (I think that's right). I was pretty full, but then the waitress brought a dessert tray with peach pie. That pie was also very good. I had about a half mile walk back to the guest house, which allowed me to burn off at least a few of the calories. Great meal at a good price. Highly recommended.
