I've been here a few times over the years. This visit, I tried the giant BLT and fried peaches. Yum! The mini burgers are a perfect size for young kids. The onion rings are good, too. The ice crwam potions are massive! I believe this place is very reasonably priced.

Great place. My first time there and was not disappointed. A classic drive-in with good food and great service. Nostalgic and so far above drive-in windows and fast food joints. Double dip on a great ice cream cone. Impressive menu and portions Car hop was polite, courteous and fast.....Mist bar was a plus

We decided to take a chance and drive about 15 minutes outside Lawton to eat a late breakfast here. It’s a little string of dumpy shacks combined for a restaurant and kitchen. On first glance the building is dilapidated and junky and inside isn’t much better. The inside is dirty and bathroom falling apart and grimy. Dirty dishes are placed next to tables where you eat and everything needs cleaned. At the time of our visit 3 people were working. 1 cook and 2 waitresses. It took 20 minutes to get a drink order and 30 to get them. Waitresses were bussing tables, going back to help cook, taking payments, in addition to their waitress duties. We walked in and the place was either full or had dirty dishes on empty tables. It’s clearly a management problem. We told the waitress not to worry about the delays as it wasn’t her fault. They were working hard. The only redemption here is the food is great. Biscuits are delicious and the size of a soup bowl. Pancakes were fluffy and my omelette was flavorful and cooked to perfection. We took a huge cinnamon home as well. Also great. Surprisingly few choices for breakfast in Lawton so I would still recommend this place if they don’t get shut down by the inspectors.

Stopped in for quick dinner. Service was good and friendly from the start, but slipped a little toward the end. Place seemed clean, and was busy. Nice menu and the catfish plate was very good, but the burger could have been better. It seemed pre-cooked and was just warm. Maybe it sat a bit waiting on the fish. Homemade chips were also cold. Drinks were fine. I would return.

I feel like I had a very different experience than most of the other reviewers. My family and I stopped by here after an afternoon at Wichita Wildlife Refuge. Like another reviewer, I stopped by based on the positive online reviews. The staff was very friendly and *very* helpful. The restaurant is tiny and we felt a little crowded. The bathroom requires leaving the building and walking around to the back *or* going through the kitchen (which I was told I could've done, if they weren't cooking our order right then, although that seems slightly unsanitary).Chips & queso were delicious, but when our main food came out, it wasn't very good. My husband ordered a burger, I ordered a Turkey & Ham Club, my daughter ordered the Philly, and my other daughter ordered the kids Chicken Tenders. Everything seemed to be overwhelmed in a reddish spice. It dripped off of all the food, and there was so much spice that I couldn't really enjoy the meat in my club. My daughter didn't like the spice on her Philly (it messed up the flavor) and she ended up switching meals with my husband because she thought she would enjoy the burger better (she didn't). I boxed up half of my sandwich for my husband to eat later (he's got a stronger stomach and isn't quite as discriminating about taste, but he didn't love it either). The daughter with the chicken tenders (our pickiest person) didn't have any issues with her food.I don't want to rate this restaurant lower, because we did have some positive aspects - including friendly staff, big portions, and a discount for paying cash! - but the main meal wasn't one of them (and I tried a bite of everyone's food, hoping it was just mine).I am truly sorry you didn't enjoy your food. We make all our own seasonings and sauces for all of our food. We marinate our steak and season everything which is what most people love about our food. However the seasonings should not have been dripping off your food. I am sorry for that. I do hope you give us another chance. The reason you have to walk around to the bathroom is because my building is historic and was built in 1920. I do eventually hope to enclose a walk path to the bathroom. Thank you.

Everyone gets fresh buttery rolls and they are amazing. Everything seems well priced. Style inside is pretty interesting. A lot of history throughout the place with old pictures. In the downtown area. Across from the water park. Personally, I tried the fried catfish, with fried okra. Never had okra before but loved having it for the first time here. I also got to taste my friend's fried green tomatoes. Delicious!
