This is not the place to go!!! Very tense atmosphere, I think our waitress was on crack. The guy bringing the food out to the waiter's seemed very disinterested in even being there & I believe he was either the owner or the manager. He looked and acted very unprofessional. My $10 for my hamburger would have been much better spent across the street at Krystals
See what the Colonel's cooking at your local KFC. Stop in today and enjoy our world famous chicken - it's Finger Lickin' Good!
Driving home hungry from a day of distillery tours and undecided about what to eat and just happened to see the Colonels bucket and had a craving. While it was later in the evening, the buffet was fully stocked. The place was clean. The food was good. We left satisfied.
Great griddle-cooked cheeseburgers! Retro diner menu... unintended, I'm sure, as they have been serving great fast food in McMinnville for 50 years. Convenient & satisfying food if you are visiting the local wholesale plant nurseries that abound in this area of TN.
Arrived at restaurant and greeted by server and set us right away. Craft beer was cold and refreshing. We order hot wings, and spinach dip with fresh cut chips. While we waited one of the owners Jimmy came over and chatted with us and checked on us. Food came out hot and just as we ordered. It was delicious! Service was great as well. The decor is interesting and on the weekend live music on the deck and on the loft when it cold. This a hidden jewel please check it out for your self.
I love everything I have ordered here. The food is fresh and tasty. Service is super friendly and fast. The dining room is clean and comfortable. I've never stayed over night, but I always show people the cute bedrooms (if they aren't rented). And dessert..... YUM! and so inexpensive. They are only open for lunch Tuesday through Thursday. If they were open at dinnertime, I would be there weekly!

Overall everything was edible .. nothing was spectacular .. we had a couple chicken dishes and pasta with meatballs .. The chicken was cooked and kinda moist .. meatballs were not on par with frozen ones from the grocery .. the cannoli looked better than it tasted .. salad bar had a decent variety and was probably the highlight of the meal .. wonât go out of our way to visit again

a great place to go for Sunday lunch or lunch during the week. Home cooked veggies and a nice assortment of meat. Breakfast is also very good.
Just had a brunch at this wonderful establishement. I found the Eggs Benedict totally sumptuous and prepared exquisitely. The dining area is small and decorated in a bucholic manner. A small wait should be expected because of space. The menu has many items not found on most Southern cafes. Because of this makes The Cumberland Biscuit Company is a nice niche restaurant. I recommend this place highly because when price meets perfection the value echoes.

A small country store with made from scratch cooking. It is located in Depot Bottom across from Riverside Cemetery. Daily specials along with a regular menu. Sweet Tea/Fruit Tea and Homemade Desserts. A taste of home.
My wife and I had our lunch there yesterday, and found the experience to be great! The building is very rustic in appearance with the food being very good. My wife ordered a burger and I ordered a BLT, and we both ordered the delicious veggie soup.Thank you for the kind words! Please come back soon! We appreciate you!

I've had my eye on this place for quite some time, just never seemed to dedicate the time to head out there. This place has been around for 10 yearsâ¦sadly this was my first but not last visit. The place is quaint and we were greeted by the manager who told us to grab a seat and make ourselves comfortable. Pursuing the menu and the specials board there are a lot of options here, and I was so tempted to try the Texas Cuban sandwich and wished we were there later to try the Prime Rib. Guess Iâll need to come back againâ¦soon. We did a lot of sharing hereâ¦the plates are good sized and you should not be hungry after dining here. The serviceâ¦excellent. Our waitress Jesse took great care of us and made us feel very welcome. They do have beer here and I tried a Witbeer called Florida Cracker brewed by Cigar City Brewingâ¦this is a solid beer with nice citrus base but not overpowering and the hint of vanilla gave it a nice finish. The food⦠Hickory Smoked Beef Brisket: When it comes to brisket my measure is the many places I have visited in Texas. For Collins River their brisket is a lean cut, but I was very impressed how moist and tender it was. The smoked flavor was very mild so using a little of their sweet BBQ sauce amped up the flavor. Personally I am more of a fan of brisket with a bit higher fat content, but this was still a solid offering and IMHO better used on a sandwich with slaw and BBQ sauce. Hickory Smoked Baby Back Ribs: Dayum Good!!! These ribs were absolutely incredibleâ¦thick, meaty, perfectly cooked, and fall off the bone tender. If you grabbed a bone, you came back with no meatâ¦just bone. Must sayâ¦these are some of the best wet ribs I have had in a very long time! The sauce used on the ribs...perfectly complimented the flavors.Chicken Tenders: These had an unusual flavor, and I believe it is because they use the same style batter used for the catfish. Overall they are good chicken tenders and they offer a variety of sauces for dipping.Kids Pulled Pork Sliders: I donât normally comment on kids plates, but this is an exception. One of the things I will need to try is their pulled porkâ¦it was delicious. The pork was so tender and had a tinge of sweetness (maybe honey) that really created an impressive kids plate. As for the numerous sides we had the TN Baked Beans and Crinkle Cut French Fries were top of the list. The baked beans had some of the ground beef from Willow Oak Farms and was very tasty. The Southern Coleslaw and Sweet Pepper Slaw on their own were good, but combining the two together was absolutely delicious with the combination of vinegar and mayo based slaw's. The Onion Rings, Cornbread Salad, and Sweet Potato Fries were just...OK. The cornbread muffins were a bit dry and something like a honey butter would have helped them.Dessertâ¦if the Blackberry Cobbler with Vanilla Ice Cream is any indication, having dessert here is a MUST!!! Hands down, probably the best cobbler I have ever enjoyed. The berries were perfectly sweet (especially blackberries which can be very tart) and the cake was INCREDIBLE.Overallâ¦it was well worth the two-hour round-trip drive to enjoy this little gem in McMinnville, TN.
