Now this is a great Wendy's - It is out of the way - Not to far from the Mayfield, KY, Courthouse. It was clean - had good service and served a "Great" Large Frosty - Of late some Wendy's have down sized their Frosty and made then a little thinner. Not this place - the Frosty was served in a larger cup than I have seen lately (it took me a while to eat it) and it was very "Thick & Creamy" - Loved it - made my day.
Service was a bit slow, but that could be because they were making it fresh. I can't say this about all Captain D's.Servers come around often to clear your table and they were all friendly.
This sub restaurant is very well run and is spotless clean. The subs are of generous size and the ingredients are fresh. The restrooms are excellent in size and cleanliness. I have found the manager and the staff to be especially nice. I had some problems with a large order made, and the manager went out of his way to be understanding and kind. We easily resolved the problem and I remain a loyal customer. This is a good restaurant for both local residents and for folks traveling through on Interstate 69. I highly recommend the Subway on Paris Rd. in Mayfield, KY.
Made my first trip here to eat since they opened a few months ago. Guess this is a chain venture but firsts one I've ever been to. Nice and clean and apparently well managed. Very extensive been and alcoholic drink offerings. I just had a regular cheeseburger and curly fries but they offer many more options than the usual "Sports Bar, not just hot wings. Their menu is full of entrees including burgers, fish and steak and chicken, plus 3 or 4 dessert offerings. Very pleased with the site and the food. Will return for sure

The best food, clean restaurant and friendly staff. Most meals are more than you can eat. What else could you ask for?

My prime rib had to go back because it was raw in the middle. The server said it was the fifth steak sent back that night. I thought it needed more salt/seasoning of some kind. That said, the Brussels sprouts and the fried green beans were delicious, and my husband said his shrimp po' boy was fine. I would try it again, but not for steak.

We stopped here on a road trip to Indiana. I ordered a Kentucky Hot Brown and it was disgusting--wimpy, white sandwich bread, ham and turkey cold cuts, cold Cheez Whiz for the sauce. I sent it back as it was cold. It came back warm, but just as disgusting. Others in my party were equally disappointed with their choices. We hoped dessert would make up for it, but no such luck. Pass on this one.

Love their good old fashioned country breakfasts and coffee that never stops. The decor is quite country and the waitresses call you "honey" when you order. I have been here dozens of times and have never had a bad meal. Love their biscuits and country ham.

Heard about the Majestic from people in Paducah, Kentucky so went there for lunch mid-week. We didn't get there until about 2:15 pm. At that time the restaurant was pretty much empty. We were ignored for too long and finally seated. Then we were ignored again. We went to the buffet and there was very little chicken, the chicken I had been told was the best ever. The vegetables were very good, well seasoned. One person in our party commented to a kitchen employee that brought out more green beans about the lack of chicken and was told more was coming. It did come and was delicious. I had a breast and had to look for one not so huge. It was moist and delicious. The dessert selection is huge from cake to cobbler along with an ice cream machine to top a delicious hot cobbler! Overall I enjoyed my visit and if I had one complaint, it would be the wait staff that was pretty much not interested in doing anything let alone taking care of lunch customers at 2:30 in the afternoon.

The Catfish House specializes in serving pond raised Catfish whether it be catfish fillets, catfish steaks or catfish fiddlers. We even carry imported catfish also known as basa or swai fish from Asia. We have butterfly shrimp as well and serve chicken te
We know, because we're from Maine! We live in West TN and we were driving through Mayfield and decided to stop for dinner. WOW the cajun shrimp and the coconut shrimp were outstanding. We rarely stop for seafood anywhere because we grew up where seafood is king. But this place is phenominal. Hushpuppies, cole slaw and fries were all delish. The staff is super friendly. We spoke to the owner, who is there to greet you and to see you off, yet another rarity. We live an hour away, but will be going back. Oh, and it is also CLEAN a big plus for me!Thank you so much for the kind review. We really appreciate it. We really enjoyed having you looking forward to seeing you next time!!
