Woke up hungry and craving a quick and tasty, breakfast place near you? From fluffy, hand-rolled Made From Scratch⢠Biscuits⢠to crispy bacon on our classic breakfast platter to breakfast favorites that you can't get anywhere elseâ¦Hardee's® serves food ju
Hardee's has never been a top of the line place to eat in this town. The food is ok, and usually pretty cheap. Time has moved on, the menu has been changed up, and the prices are higher. Still, the culture is somewhat the same. Biscuits fried in chicken grease and covered in pork sausage and gravy? Yeah, it'll probably lead to your early demise. It's comfort food until your body wakes up and realizes you're trying to kill it. But until they make 1/2 pound burgers illegal, or your doctor issues dire warnings about your cholesterol levels, you might as well enjoy them now and then.

We were a table of 10, our server was Tamara and she was excellent. Very polite, helpful and anticipated our every need. The food was great across the table. As a bonus it was even free pie Monday. They also have a special 55+ menu if you are of age. Everyone left very satisfied and I will return to this Perkins when I visit the area again. I was so impressed I stopped the manager to tell him what a great job Tamara did for us.

Wanting to support a local restaurant, we chose Applebeeâs for our weekly date night. The restaurant was full, but not to capacity. My order was completely incorrect when it arrived. They offered to remake it and when I finally received it the meat was fatty and over cooked. Their only excuse was the kitchen was busy. We wonât be going back there for any special occasions or dates.

This is the place to go for home-cooked comfort food. They have all kind of stuff from meatloaf to chicken to pork chops. There is a variety of salads, desserts, and other sides to make your meal complete. Good choice of beverages, too. To top it off, the owners and other staff a very friendly. Great daily specials.
Best breakfast in town and extremely reasonable. Craig just brings on the coffee when he sees me come in. Even with a group of 10-15, serving time is pretty quick. Plus our coffee carafes are always kept full. New remodel made the place fresh and clean. A joy to go.

Came for a few beers and some food. Burnt the fried "Rocket chips". Food ok but little flies or flying bugs everywhere. Constantly swatting them away. Bartender and cook talking crap about mixed couples coming in. Multiple times employees left place unoccupied to go outside. All around bad experience and definitely will not return.

My husband and I celebrated our 48th wedding anniversary at Tremont on Main. I ordered Salmon and my husband ordered a special that night that featured a tenderloin steak. Both were absolutely superior to other restaurants. The vegetables served were a unique combination and also were tasty. I especially liked the salad dressing which was a Greek like dressing with feta cheese. We went all out and split the raspberry chocolate cheesecake for dessert. It was hard to choose which dessert as they all looked delicious. The prices were high for a general meal, but for once a year celebration we thought we deserved extravagance and superior food quality/presentation.

Tremont On Main is a fine dining restaurant. Tremont Grille is a Breakfast and Lunch Restaurant. Tremont Inn is a boutique inn with 12 suites. They are located in the same building. The restaurants are side by side and the Inn is upstairs above them.
Iâve only been in Marshalltown twice and both times Iâve eaten at Tremont on Main. Great location with a great atmosphere and fantastic menu. There is something for everyone. The owners remembered me from my last trip and Dallas the host/bartender make you feel like your at home.

The strawberry malt was delicious! The loose meat sandwich didn't have much flavor; had to load it up with ketchup, mustard, pickle and onion. The old fashioned diner counter was fun and the service was so/s0. It was staffed by a bunch of young kids trying hard. I would recommend a malt from here and eat your meal somewhere else.
