This hidden gem in Manville, NJ is a must-go for every craft brew lover and aficionado. I don't care where you live, COME BY HERE. You will find craft brew available that you won't find anywhere else in the region. That alone would be enough for a rave review, but wait! There's more... Food? Omg. The burgers and fries are insane. Special brew infused brine pre-soak and a "hops salt" make the fries one of a kind. People? The. Friendliest. You walk in a stranger and leave a friend. Entertainment? How about live music! This is a little bar that meets big expectations. I'd give it more than 5 stars if possible. LOVVVVVVVVE ITTTTTTT!

Forget 'casual dining.' That's an industry term so out of touch with how consumers eat and drink today. For premium quality and style; fare that's at times familiar and other times adventurous and a laid-back modern setting, Houlihan's is a true original.
Liked the grilled rosemary chicken with the California cauliflower the side of veggies were ok, wrong order, they fixed it with shriveled up string beans weird to fix something with something worse. One person in our group thought his salmon was a tad dry. Service was not good never checked on us and left the dirty plates on the table too long. Usually better will probably return. I'm sorry to hear you didn't enjoy your visit with us. We strive for 100% guest satisfaction and would like to be able to make it right. Kindly email your contact information to [email protected] and I'll have our team reach out directly. Hope to hear from you soon! -Amanda, Houlihan's Marketing

We planned to meet some family members in Somerville for dinner. We wanted to try a new restaurant and found one that seemed interesting. They told us they had been closed but Saturday night was their grand reopening, when asked about the menu we were told it was going to be a surprise. Well it was, two entree's and a some prepared food on a warming tray. We choose to eat elsewhere. It was 5:45 on a Saturday night, no reservation and we tried several nearby restaurants, no luck. At 6:00 we went into Boulevard Seafood company and they managed to squeeze us in and we are so glad they did. The service was excellent, the food very good to excellent and according to everyone the maple creme brûlée was just about the best example of this classic dessert they had ever had. For dinner I had the octopus and shrimp salad (which was good, but needed a bit of seasoning, my adding some lemon and black pepper still left it a bit bland) and the grilled shrimp street tacos, which were very tasty and larger than expected. Other diners in our party had the seafood risotto (excellent), the raw oysters (very good) and another octopus and shrimp salad and the pappardelle and gulf shrimp (good)

Have driven by when visiting my parents from Colorado but first time here for all of us. Great handicapped accessible. Everyone enjoyed their entrees. Liver done right (rare) for my mom. Dessert included.

Stopped in for a spinach salad. Had some kind of chicken thing with corn, pumpkin seeds, tomatoes, etc. Other than the part that I dropped on my dress pants, I thought it was quite good with fresh ingredients.Definitely recommend.

Neighborhood New American Eatery with locations in Bridgewater, Gillette and now Flemington (September 2018) is central New Jerseyâs favorite family restaurant group, having served millions of loyal guests since 1863. Offering quality meals and beverages
Thank you Chimney Rock Inn for having many vegan options. It always amazes me that some restaurants can successfully manage to have several vegan options, but most can't even offer one! Although I grew up in Bridgewater this was my first visit, but it won't be the last. I ordered a bowl of veg chili and the strawberry quinoa salad. Both were delicious. The chili portion could have been a little bigger, while the chip portion surrounding the bowl could have been smaller. Red sangria was just ok, next time I'll stick to wine.Husband had the salmon which came with a salad. Apple brown betty a la mode for dessert. The food was good, not outstanding, but the choices for a vegan diner coming with a non-vegan diner was the high point for us. And nice to dine outside too.

Drewby's was one of our favorite neighborhood taverns. Great food, and excellent service. Boy has it changed since the move! As mentioned in the former comment, the door has no barrier. The cold wind just whip's through the restaurant. The service was terrible. What happened to the old staff? The servers were more interested in chatting with themselves than the patrons. Not attentive at all. The menu has changed. Not a good thing. I will wait a few months before we return. I hope they get their act together. If not, they lose an old and faithful customer.

Crowned as the" Best Bar in New Jersey" . Verve Continues the tradition of the Court House Cafe circa 1901, Verve is your landmark 23 year bistro of excellence. Situated in the heart of downtown Somerville, NJ, Verve serves the best in French bistro fare
The restaurant was full, so the service wasn't as attentive as I had expected, and the tables were close enough together that the conversations from adjacent tables was annoying. I noticed that none of the servers were smiling and I found that odd.I enjoyed my three appetizers and they were so filling that I didn't have room for dessert, other than a delicious glass of Warrior Port.I recommend the poached pear salad (I ordered the dressing on the side), the tuna tartare and the gnocchi (with brussel sprouts, feta and squash or pumpkin puree.)
