The service was great, the pizza delicious, and the prices reasonable. They handled our take-out order without issues. We would eat here again.

Exceptional quality food, expertly prepared in very interesting combinations, all Rey effective. Caught them in between beer stockings so too heavy on IPA drafts. Otherwise everything was terrific.

It was Fourth of July week so everywhere was busy with tourists. We called ahead to be certain they were open and arrived to a very busy establishment where we waited a short amount of time for a table. I was surprised by how many empty tables there were, but I guess they were short staffed so they did not want to overburden those servers that were on that day. They were still really busy as it was a challenge to get coffee refills. Nice standard diner menu with all of what you would expect. We were in no rush so the average wait for food was acceptable. Food was average good. Once again acceptable. When I stopped to pay on my way out I am still like a little kid and was excited to get my complimentary cookie. Suited my needs for the day, but will be in no rush to return when visiting the area.Hello, thank you for your review. 4th of July was much busier than we had expected it to be and you are correct, we were unfortunately very short staffed for the volume we saw that day. I wish we wowed you a bit more with our food and service but hopefully sometime you will try us again in the future and give us another chance. Thanks again for your patience on a crazy day!

Very nice choice for dinner with friends on a very busy Saturday evening in the beautiful Saratoga Springs area. Old fashioned diner with a large addition in the back. Very nice menu, outstanding service and very good food. Will definitely go back and highly recommend to others.

My husband and I drove around the Lake to discover this place. We pulled over and the view was beautiful and swung in to get a drink. Pleasantly surprised and they were closing due to a private party at 6pm, we got there at 5pm. They didnt' throw us out as there were at least 12 people there all having drinks in adirondack chairs taking in the view. The bar tender was excellent. Good local brews and when the private party showed up they didn't kick us out, just shut down the bar at 6pm or so. Beautiful sunny warm day to sit and have a drink. Nice fire pit, wasn't ' in use but the landscaping was very nice. We'd go back and maybe next time stay for dinner or lunch. One of the few places that was open around the lake others were seasonal. This place had entertainment in the fall, flyers on the wall, nice bar area, etc. Can't go wrong.

We love small family run restaurants. There was an article in the local paper..Times Union..that told me about the Wednesday night special. SO we drove up past many packed places that serve so so prepackaged food at not great prices. The parking lot seemed fairly empty at 6:30 PM. Not a good sign. We were met at the door by the owner, were given a tour, how they worked was explained to us, and we were nicely seated with about half the seats taken. Decor very nicely done. VERY CLEAN menus. Special we chose was 1 delicious soup which was very thick and obviously home made, and a nice Caesar salad. Then 2 obviously home made moist chicken breasts, nicely cooked lightly flavored and covered with panko, the covered with a cream sauce, and shaved cheese over an angle hair pasta (perfect). Wife had the black and blue salad, with a perfectly seasoned generous amount of steak. THEN we took home a huge piece of cannoli cheesecake. Wow. But wait. Part of the Date Night Deal was a bottle of wine. It was pretty good wine. Put the evening all together, what else could you have wanted? Very nice people, home cooked fresh food, quiet and clean, wine, delicious, and $49 total plus tax. Our new favorite restaurant!!

Located in beautiful Saratoga County, the Ripe Tomato is a friendly, family-owned and operated dining experience that sets it apart from chain restaurants. We offer simple, hearty Italian and American fare prepared using fresh, local ingredients.
The Ripe Tomato does it again! We had another lovely dinner. Penne ala vodka and pasta bari with angel hair. So GOOD!! Very tasty calimari putanesca (sp) as an appetizer. This place consistently makes awesome food and is always making new and tasty specials. Their dessert tray is equally wonderful. We always walk away with full, happy bellies!

This restaurant was selected by a family member and did not disappoint! Hadnât eaten here in a few years so I didnât known what to expect! Did not have to wait long to be seated as we had a reservation for our party. Table was very nice and was in a quiet corner! Hostess was very attentive and made sure we were comfortable. Our server wasted no time introducing herself and asked for drink orders! Brought bread to the table, herb butter and oil/balsamic followed suit and drinks. She brought menus and then ca,e back to discuss specials. They all sounded great and the fish special caught my attention. I enjoy sea bass and it was an evening special, encrusted, and garnished with asparagus! Others ordered steak, petite filet mignon and a strip steak, and salmon and a pasta dish. decided on the soup special of corn chowder with shrimp. Asked for it temperature hot, which it indeed was when served. A couple of us selected the house salad and a chopped salad, which had avocado in it. Nice portion and very filling.Flow of dishes was great and server very attentive. The main courses were not rushed out and we had time to talk and enjoy. The main courses did not disappoint and all were plated very carefully in a professional manner. Everyone was very pleased and I thoroughly enjoyed the sea bass. It was cooked perfected and tasted great!steaks cooked perfectly, along with salmon and pasta dish that had shrimp. Would not hesitate going back as it was an excellent dining experience! Didnât have room for dessert but choices sounded really good. Enjoyed their freshly brewed coffee. Overall, a great dining experience, fair priced and excellent service.

Druthers was a great place to find. It is snuggled behind a gate, quaint out door seating with flowers and greenery. They also had plenty of indoor seating. We shared their homemade house mac and cheese plus a turkey wrap. There was so much left over we took it back hotel and had 2nd opportunities that evening. The left over Mac and Cheese was even better the 2nd time around. We highly recommend.
