We went there for a healthy smoothie. Awesome almond milk berry shake. Love it! The lady who works there really took care to accommodate my friend with allergies. Will definitely go there again soon.
Henry's Tennessee River Grill is a family restaurant. We offer all of your favorite home-cooked meals from lasagna, ribeye steaks, veggie subs, pizzas, and nachos. We have it all. Oh, not to mention our salad bar! We also have a speakeasy hidden behind a
Where to go for dinner? Then I remembered that our friends Norm and Linda had mentioned that theyâd had a meal recently at a restaurant attached to the Sloanâs gas station and store complex in Madisonville Tennessee. Tennessee River Grill used to be called Henryâs Restaurant. Apparently it had been operated by someone else for the last couple of years. However, in 2017, Julie and Darrin Henry returned to remodel and reopen the restaurant. The main dining area in the Tennessee River Grill is a warm and straightforward room. It was clean and well maintained as well. FYIâ¦there is an outside patio area for those who like to dine in the great outdoors. There is a partial wall at one end of the main dining room creates a space that is probably used for groups. The wood on those walls is covered with a wide assortment of signs, with 2 big TV's dominating both sides of the room. It has a totally different âfeelâ to it vs the main dining areaâ¦My dinner came with the salad bar. There was a decent selection of produce and other goodies available and everything was fresh and chilled. I loaded upâ¦not exactly creating a healthy salad! My doctor wouldnât have approvedâ¦We decided to order an appetizer and we went for the Fried Pickles with Chipotle Sauce. ($5.99) They werenât exceptional but they were tastyâ¦and we really liked the chipotle sauce. Other appetizers on the menu include Mozzarella Sticks, Fried Mushrooms, Southwest Egg Rolls, Beer Battered Onion Rings, Cheese Fries and Chicken Fajita Quesadillas. While the menu includes Entrees (including BBQ ribs), plus Pastas, Dinner Salads, Pizzas and Subs, my wife opted for the Burger and Sandwich section of the menu, going for one of her favorite sandwiches, a Patty Melt. ($5.39) Her hamburger patty was served on grilled marbled rye bread with Swiss cheese and grilled onions. She was pleased with her choice for dinner⦠I went a bit off the reservation for my dinner. I don't usually order steak when we eat out. I had the 10 oz. Ribeye Steak with steamed broccoli. ($15.49) It was cooked medium rare as requested and the flavor was very nice. It wasnât the most tender ribeye Iâve ever had but for the price, it was about what I expected. The broccoli was steamed correctly, coming out not too hard nor too mushy. The added mozzarella cheese was an addition 50 cents...and was probably unnecessary. Madison, who was our server, was very helpful, efficient and sweet. The restaurant and its food have improved with the return of the former owners. Prices are very reasonable as well. Weâll return to Tennessee River Grill for another look at the menu. In particular, Iâll have to give their BBQ ribs a try. This is no longer just a 'food fuel stop' in our opinion.
It was the most horrible , disgusting sandwich I have ever had from a Subway store, the woman who took my order made me feel like I was disturbing her that she had to wait on me.. not a very nice woman, I have seen that she doesn't work there any more which I am thankful for..
Krystal is an American fast food restaurant chain headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia that has been serving up southern favorites since 1932. It is known for its small, square hamburgers with fresh-steamed buns, hot-off-the-grill. Other Krystal favorites in
Our whole family came to Madisonville to witness the total eclipse. We had high hopes and plenty of useful "equipment" stashed in the car: folding chairs, water bottles, sunscreen...even a pinhole viewer! We even knew to arrive a couple of hours prior to the beginning of the eclipse, simply to avoid getting snarled in traffic. What we hadn't anticipated was how *hot* it would be to sit in the limited shade in the park and wait...and wait... So you can only imagine how glad we were to discover this Krystal in a reasonable walking distance from where we'd set up "camp." Our first visit was for lunch, which included soft ice cream cones all around. Later, I walked back for another round of ice cream for myself and brightly colored Icees for the rest of the crew. The employees were so friendly and nice - they remembered me from one visit to the next, despite the sad condition I was in after spending about two and a half hours sweating it out in the patchy shade in the park. I'd be delighted to go back to this Krystal again and have another very pleasant lunch, (with dessert, of course!) if it weren't such a long drive from home. However, if you're in the area, I recommend that *you* stop in and say hello and let these nice ladies take as good care of you as the did for us. Their friendliness made this memorable event that much more memorable for us.

I made a couple visits while in the area for a few days and both of my meals was very good. Seemed like old fashion cooking is still alive.

Linda's cafe used to be the Cracker Box. It is still in the family ( Female side... three generations) The food is basic Meat and Three. The value is very good... Food Quality is good. You will get called "Honey' as you move along food serving line. If I need to be reminded why I live in the country... I meet a friend at LInda's Cafe.

We loved coming here until this last time! My husband and I had to throw our footlong hotdogs in the trash after only one bite and left starving. His was chilli cheese and mine was a slaw dog, it was was gross. They were footlong hotdogs but on 2 regular size buns which doesn't work to well. They were soggy and cold. Luckily our kids liked their kids meals but i doubt we will be back anytime soon. So bummed too cause we used to really enjoy eating here.
Had to go to the courthouse - parked in front and had to check it out. I was so surprised at how clean it was. The selection was amazing and the taste to die for.

Atmosphere was nice, but service was lousy even with the buffet. More coffee would have been nice. Went for lunch, potatoes tasted like a cheap box brand, chicken was very salty, vegetables were OK. We never saw one worker smile. Meal was not worth going back again. We are saddened you had a bad experience. We strive for excellence in food and service so the experience you had is not what our staff set out for. I apologize. We are a mom and daughter 25 year business. Our place is our home and we host our guests with great pleasure everyday. I have my cell 4235193304, and my email [email protected] printed on my business cards for specific reason. I want to stay connected to my customers. Unfortunately I canât go back to this day and change anything for you but I would ask you give us another chance. Thank you.

I have wanted to try this place for awhile and finally made it. The food and service were both good but I felt it was a little expensive, $7+ for a half pound burger then extra for fries or what other side you want. Not saying I wouldn't eat here again because I would it was just a little more than I was expecting.
