It's a breakfast and lunch restaurant connected to a motel near the Western Illinois University campus.
I was very disappointed with this dining experience. The service was poor, it seemed like we were a nuisance to the staff which was the owner and her family. We had to literally flag someone down to get our drink refilled and they were out of baked potatoâs. Our server was an adolescent boy who was polite but clearly did not know a thing about being a waiter. The food was terrible. I would not recommend and will never go back.

I have been coming down to this area for years and tend to eat closer to my hotel. I asked for a good referral for dinner options to try something different from someone who lives in the area. The good: large menu with a lot of options that will please everyone. I had a patty melt, salad, and Sweet potato fries. The lettuce in the salad had seen better days, but, the patty melt was spot on. The iced tea was very tasty. Most restaurants over brew ice tea to the point where it tastes bitter. If you donât want to be caught waiting for your check ask for it to be delivered with your meal. The wait staff were busy and efficient. Will be back to eat here!

Locally owned Sports Bar in downtown Macomb. Popular restaurant/bar with the locals and the Western Illinois University staff and students. Great location between Amtrak Station, Chandler Park and the Macomb Downtown Square.
We went here for an enjoyable lunch. We were seated right away and that was the end of the great service. We waited about 30 minutes with a waitress walking right past us many times and totally ignoring us. I finally got the bartenders attention as she was walking around. She begrudgingly took our order and while she was there the waitress stopped by to let us know she would be right there. Really? Anyways, our order was taken and then we waited and waited and waited. Finally the first of our food came out and the bartender told one member of our party that they could not get the nachos because they did not have any chips. They didn't know this when the order was put in? The poor people in our party that had ordered the nachos decided to go without because of the length of time it took to get our original order. The fries were stone cold. The onion rings came after everyone was done eating. Just an overall very poor lunch.I am so very sorry to hear this. In order to fix this problem, could you tell me what day and time you were in for lunch? Thank you.

A group of us went to celebrate a friend's birthday. The acoustics were horrible...it was a very noisy restaurant, which made it hard to visit at our table. My entree needed to be sent back to be cooked more; the fish was translucent. The waitress did not come back to see if everything was alright, which it was not. We had to ask the girl serving more bread to please send our waitress to our table. It was sad that our waitress was training another gal when she herself was not properly trained. We had to ask for things like more water when our glasses were clearly empty. It would have been a nice touch if a cupcake or piece of cake had been brought to the birthday gal, but nothing special was done except the owner coming to our table to wish our friend a happy birthday. The thing I disliked the most, however, was the need to nickel and dime customers. I feel that when ordering a dinner at over $25 per person, it really cheapens the experience to be charged ($.39!!) for sour cream for the potato!! I did not mind paying an dollar extra for the upgraded potato or an extra dollar for the salad dressing; however, the $.39 charge on my husband's potato was unnecessary. We won't be back for quite awhile!!

Founded in 2009 by Melissa and Daniel Bustamante, The macomb Family Diner offers a full menu of American Favorites for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, 364 days a year. Breakfast is served all day, and fresh baked goods such as cakes and pies are available d
Max and Molly's is a small town diner. The portions are generous, and the prices are cheap. We had a large party and the place was busy, but they managed to squeeze us in. Breakfast is served all day. I had the Chef's salad. The salad was huge with several ingredients and largely iceburg lettuce. With cheap prices and large portions, the restaurant is busy.

This restaurant has the most amazing menu and all the items are great. Small family run restaurant that has something for everyone on menu. Friendly staff and reasonable prices. Large portions on most meals. Beer and wine offered also. The restaurant is pretty basic in terms of decor but the food is what you will continue to return for. All the Italian basics offered. Specials offered daily also.

Full service restaurant focusing on fresh prep! Chubbys has a versatile menu from hand pattied fresh ground beef burgers, hand cut steaks, smoked bbq, to tantalizing salads and wraps, while your here try out some local cuisine like our Donkey Shoe or Hick
Our son attends Western Illinois University, and weâve eaten here several times when visiting. Food is always good and servers are friendly. Weâve tried several things on the menu: open faced turkey, pulled pork nachos, tenderloin sandwich. Never had anything bad. Son loves their burgers! If I had one complaint, it would be that their glasses are small and Iâm always asking fir a refill of iced tea! Parking can be tricky, as itâs right next to Chickâs on the Square, but Chubbyâs is worth trolling for a space!

Great casual lunch spot. Sandwiches of all kinds, soups, and breakfast served all day. Deserts are home made and vary daily. My favorite desert coconut cream pie! Favorite breakfast item I order for lunch is a breakfast burrito with eggs, mushrooms, tomatoes, spinach, green peppers, and jalapeno peppers with salsa.

I passed by Chick's many times and never felt attracted by their outdoor appearance. But, invited by friends, I was very very impressed by their food. It is delicious. It is crowded, but the atmosphere is good, the personnel nice, and you feel good in there. Very much recommend!
