Lucky us -- we went for lunch on a Tuesday, which turns out to be the day Tucker's features lobster rolls. I live in a lobster-roll desert, so that made my choice easy. My spouse chose a salad. (Shrug) The food was delicious. Service was friendly. Can't ask for more than that! We showed up a little after 1 p.m. and had to wait about 10 minutes or so for a table. I guess everyone knows Tuesday is Lobster Roll Day?

Concord's choice for quality food, top-notch service, and fresh local micro-brews. Located across the street from the State Capitol, The Barley House is a popular spot for business lunches, parties, after-work crowds, and culinary pleasure seekers.
My husband and I went for lunch. He had the Korean BBQ burger. The burger was cooked perfectly but there was no Korean BBQ flavor. The french fries were great. I had the french dip. The roast beef and bread were quite good but the red wine demi au jus wasn't good. It's a nice place, though.

Just really not all that good. Iâve had better at other weathervanes. Donât know whatâs up with the water. Our sodas and water were disgusting. They say all of the water in this area comes from the wells and taste like that, I think they better get the wells all checked then.A 85° day needed the ac on at 6:30pm. Food was so so. Expensive clam dinner for what you got.

Their breakfast is so good I never get to order their lunches or delicious homemade baked goods! Recently brought a group, family reunion of sorts, and the service could not have been better. Its always great service, but this time it was over-the-top and they never even said a word when we stayed a few minutes past closing without realizing the time! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!1

We got here a little before they opened and so the owner said to walk through the grapes, and see the Alpacas two were very friendly but all came to the fence for a treat of grape leaves ( the owner said it was OK) when they opened we tried the wines two we liked were an apple wine and a lightly sweet blend of Serval wine and strawberry..we had a groupon for the tasting and a free bottle so we got a bottle of each. the people who run it were very friendly and the wife went to school in MN so we had some connection.

My husband and I have been driving past this restaurant for the past couple of years as we moved into the area. He had been looking forward to trying it since our move became permanent last year. Tonight was the night. He was excited to have the alligator appetizer and try the bison. There were only 4 tables full in the dining room when we arrived, one already had their food, and 2 waitresses. It took almost 10 minutes to get menus, at which time we ordered 2 glasses of tap beer and nachos. We waited an unexpectedly long time for the beer and ordered the alligator and bison when the beer arrived. Our beers finished, we sat there waiting. 3 more tables filled up while we waited. The waitress finally came by to say the nachos would be out soon and took another drink order. She came back to say they were out of the beer I ordered. So I ordered a different kind. When she brought that she told me it was the last glass of that beer as well. Still no food, and we had been there for 30 minutes already - for nachos? Even from scratch they should be on the table by now. After sitting there waiting for an hour and watching people that arrived after us receive their orders the waitress came to tell us it would only be a few more minutes for the nachos. Now, my husband is usually a very patient man, but after an hour in the restaurant and having had difficulty being served 2 drinks, he asked for the check for what we'd had and told the waitress to cancel our orders. She said she'd have to talk to the manager. Really? Were they going to make us stay, or pay for food we didn't receive? I cannot say one way or the other if the food is good since we were unable to get any. But I can say that the service is slow at best and quite unfriendly. I recommend just continuing your drive past this restaurant.
The Lakes Region Community College's culinary students offer an international buffet each Thursday (during the school year) at this historic site. Each week you get to try a different cuisine: today was Indian (wonderful shrimp curry, coconut cod, Kerala style lamb, curried chicken, Khadi soup, eggplant and potato combo) Last week was Greek/Middle Eastern. After the Spring break my friends and I will enjoy cuisine from the British Isles and then France the following week. For a mere $12 you get a wonderful meal plus the opportunity to try new flavors and new cuisines, or to enjoy your favorites. Space is limited so reservations make sense. My friends and I have a standing reservation each week. this is too good to miss. Seriously, if you want to try new cuisines, or if, like me, you love every type of food, this is the place to be! My group has been coming here regularly for 2 years and it is a highlight of our week.

The Eggshell has always been "the" place for locals, but visitors (especially race fans, or campers) have made this their regular breakfast place. The muffins are great and come in a variety of homemade flavors. Don't be afraid if you see a line-- the wait is never long. Friendly staff will make things your way, just ask. No dinner here (sorry).
