Stopped in for dinner. Great food and service. Our waitress was very nice and quick. The wait was not long at all, like 10 minutes. The manager came by our table, which I think is always nice. The food was great, nice and hot.

I like that the Subway foods are fresh and made to order. The food is good and a great value. It is a little more healthy than other fast foods.

We have ordered from here many times since the place opened. The menu is extensive but we have only ordered pizza, ribs or wings. The ribs are of the St. Louis variety and are usually saucy and tender. The price for a full rack of ribs fall below dedicated barbecue restaurants as does the quality. The rib tips are not tender and difficult to eat. Wings are decent and the pizza is very good. Customer service and order accuracy are very good. Prices are right and coupons available.

I tried a small chicken original. The portion size was good but it didn’t have much flavor. Adding some seasoning (salt) while cooking would help. The bread didn’t hold as well as I’d like. I got my sandwich to go & by the time I got home to eat it, portions of the bun were soggy.I doubt if I would buy this again. Maybe try their french fries.

The appearance of the interior is outdated. The waitress was friendly and attentive. Service seemed a bit slow at times based on minimal staff and a busy setting. The perch breading was average, nothing out of the ordinary that would make me want to order it again. The fries were thin and nothing more than average. Heartburn ensued after. The Jumbalya tasted good but seemed a bit soupy than what I have experienced in the past. Some work is needed to bring up the quality of the overall experience in this restaurant/bar.

Chris' Restaurant

Chris' Restaurant is a good place to have a good tasting home cooked meal. When I was in Lorain recently I had the Lake Erie Perch Dinner. (You can't get that everywhere.) It was a large meal and delicious. You will not get any French food here but good food you will eat. The ambiance is down home. Nothing all that special but it reflects the price you will pay here. You can have a good meal and reasonably priced right here on the southern shore of Lake Erie.

I have been driving by here for 20 years and finally decided to give it a try. It helped that Chris' down the street was closed. I had my usual eggs, bacon, toast and it was good. I was surprised that the inside was nicer than I imagined. Get there before 11 for the breakfast specials which we had just missed. Very reasonably priced. Our server, Brandy, was very attentive.

Great place! Been there a couple of times and would go again for sure! I like their hamburgers unlike fast food places that taste horrible. I like the free peanuts too to snack on which I though was nice. Great service and great food!

I've been eating Yala's Pizza since high school. I'm way way past high school and have switched to Eliseo's. I find their pizza much better than any chain pizza. The toppings are fresh and plentiful. The service is fast and friendly. It feels like family is making your pizza. I recommend the next time you have a taste for a good pie, call Eliseo's.

Diso's Bistro

Best meal I have had dining out in a long time. Great food. Small local 'hole in the wall' restaurant. The owner was our waiter.

My sister who is local took my husband and I while we were in town. Like others mention, the outside is very deceiving. The server who is also the owner and chef is quite impressive. There's great wine and beer selection. The potato skins are fantastic and mushrooms appetizer is huge. Since he is the chef, he's open to adapting your main course however you need. We would definitely return.
