Used to love, asked to leave when we were done eating but not our coffee because people were waiting for table...so much for our full cups. Rude! Raw potatoes... well next time order well done says owner. Eat your frozen cold ones. Pancake house for us. Owner your rude.

We had dinner here because of the reviews. First let me say something about the decor of the restaurant. Itâs tastefully decorated but it loses its impact and warmth due to its spaciousness. Our server, Sean, was charming and attentive. My wife had the pulled pork burger and I had the cowboy burger. Both were very good, but messy to eat. My wife tried the onion rings, which were good but not worth the up-charge. My fries were also good but over-salted. The on-tap beer choices are few and contain mostly IPAs. Tried the Sunward Hefe which was a real disappointment. It tasted like Coors Lite.

I love this locally owned restaurant. The atmosphere is laid back and relaxed and the food is always amazing. You can seat yourselves at any table. The staff is always welcoming and helpful. They have a menu that includes sandwiches, burgers, soups, salads and more. The bread for the sandwiches is freshly made. They have a choice of beer battered fried (which are delicious) or regular shoe string fries. I enjoy the how many options there are on the kids menu and the kids meals come with applesauce. We ordered a âbrown cowâ for one of our kids and a huge mason jar mug full of chocolate milk and topped with whipped cream was quickly delivered to our table much to the joy of my child. My husband loves the Rancher burger and says the beef patty tastes fresh and well seasoned. Whenever we have the opportunity, this is the restaurant we choose to enjoy with our family.

I tried it right after the new owners took over. I had my old favorite - Asian peanut wrap. It was bad and they took my meal off the bill. I gave it another try recently. They got it right! I loved the sauce so much, I asked if I could buy more in a to-go box. Yes! They have excellent service, too. Be careful if you order the oriental salad. It sits on a bed of raw Top Ramen. Just order it without the "oriental noodles" and you may love it!

Went there for dinner. The place was not crowded. Ordered an appetizer and our dinner. Soups and salads came. Then just as we finished those, they brought our meals. No appetizer. When our waiter finally came I let him know that it wasn't served to us. He said he would go put the order in, but I refused since it was supposed to be an appetizer. He took it off the bill but didnt apologize. Food was passable. The navy bean soup was good, but the Maryland chicken was just greasy and bland. The bread was good but small amount. Both of the guys said their spaghetti was pretty good. Servings were generous. It took forever to get a refill on my drink which was unlimited and cost over $3 . My friend finally had to get up and take his empty glass to the cash register and ask for a refill. Waiter hardly waited on us. We were disappointed in the experience.

We just ate dinner here and it was so so good!!! I had the clam strip dinner and was surprised they will give you a baked potato with it!! Bonus!!! My guy had the oyster and halibut dinner with the fries. They both came with coleslaw. Everything was awesome!! We ordered an ice tea with the dinners and everything only came to $31. I thought that was a steal for how good the food was!! We come thru here occasionally and we will def be stopping in to eat again. Loved all the stuff on the walls, too...fishing trip pics, nautical memorabilia, and kinda homey!! Great job staff here!!

The Office842 opened in 2012. The "Sophisticated-Caffeinated-Spirited" atmosphere is very inviting. The modern decor is fun and hip. It is a great place to socialize, enjoy tapas style appetizers, breakfast, lunch, dinner, free WiFi, hand made pressed mar
We chose this restaurant because of the central location between Portland and Olympia as a convenient lunch stop. The location was good, setting and appearance satisfactory with good friendly service. We each ordered a flat bread with the primary meat ingredient being chicken and split a wedge salad. The portions were generous and well presented. Our chicken on both of the flatbreads was tough and chewy as though it had been frozen for a considerable time. Had that chicken been better so would have been this review.Thank you for the kind words on our location and our friendly service. We will pass that along to our service staff. We are disappointed to hear about your dissatisfaction regarding your chicken. We hope you brought this to your servers attention so we could make it right while you were here. We will investigate further with our kitchen staff to make sure our chicken meets our standards of quality.

Family owned for nearly 38 years - this needs to be listed
About what you would expect. I had a basic 2 egg breakfast with pancakes, coffee, juice and it arrived quickly by an attentive female team. Lots of locals, the conservative type. I do not think I will return but that's due to the acoustics- it's a narrow place and I found it too loud for the morning.

The outside of this place is nothing special. In fact, without reading the Trip Advisor reviews I doubt my wife and I would have set foot in the door. Thankfully, reviews do exist! The interior of Hop N Grape far exceeds the exterior. Nicely built out and comfortable atmosphere. My only regret in leaving this place was not saving room for their Marion Berry cobbler. I had the blackened catfish (good but could have been spicier for my taste) and sides of hush puppies and coleslaw. Hush puppies were good but coleslaw pretty bland. Oh, and I started out with a cup their smoked salmon chowder. Delicious. My wife ordered the beef brisket platter, with black eyed peas and collared green rolls. The brisket and peas were great. The rolls were definitely âuniqueâ. We rather liked them but we both agreed most people we know wouldnât! All in all a very pleasurable dining experience at Hop N Grape. I admire people who have an ambitious dream, i.e. their menu options, and work hard to make it happen.
