As part of Cookie's organic growth, a need for an alternative eating space in the centre of Villars emerged. The concept of a Deli that serves freshly baked goods along with nutritiously rich natural juices seemed very obvious to the Cookie crew. The Deli
This was our final lunch of our Swiss walking holiday and we really enjoyed our burgers. All the parts were good - the burger, relish, bun and cheese. The chips could have been cooked a little less but were still tasty. Hubby liked his cookie better than I did.

After nearly eight weeks of eating at restaurants, and trying a lot of unfamiliar food and/or cooking methods, my husband and I both decided we'd like a home-cooked hamburger. We'd passed this cafe earlier in the day and we both hoped that the mouth-watering pictures on display might be as good as they looked! They were! What we liked: the friendly greeting; the attention to detail the cook gave the cooking process; the freshness of the ingredients; the option to eat in or take away; the taste! Yummy! There are many varieties of hamburgers available.Highly recommended. (Not open on Mondays.)

We booked a table here for my birthday whilst staying in Montreux on the strength of the TripAdvisor reviews and were not disappointed. Every course was delicious as well as the wine and cocktails. The staff were welcoming and friendly and we were just sorry we didnât discover it earlier in our trip so we could go again! Switzerland is not a cheap place to eat out but we found the food to be excellent value for the quality and service received. As it was a Tuesday night it was quite quiet when we arrived but several tables filled up during the evening creating a lovely atmosphere. Be sure to book as it is not a large restaurant. If staying in Montreux it is easy to get to by train or bus with a short walk from the nearest stop.

This small restaurant offers a range of burgers and bagels. The burgers were presented on a trendy slate plate with "skin-on" fries and miniature dishes of tortilla chips, salsa and olives. The burgers tasted good as well as being fashionably presented. Soft drinks and coffee are available. You can watch the food preparation as it is in an open area; generally a sign of confidence in the hygiene standards. The restaurant was busy, with people eating in and frequent callers to collect takeaways. The prices were very reasonable for Switzerland, only slightly more expensive than the well-known burger chains but much nicer. Other restaurants in this location have not lasted long; I hope this one keeps going!

For sure it is a student bar. Most patrons are questionable as they are from a high school nearby and a mix from a university next to it.Else than that service and drinks are amazing! The bartender is very nice and knowledgable.Atmosphere is very chill. They wait up for me and my friends during our stay even tho we passed 40mnts of their closing time.

The restaurant is smartly decorated since its renovation a couple of years ago. The staff were welcoming. The menu changes with the seasons and is generally French/Swiss traditional dishes, but the presentation is very imaginative and modern; slates, elongated plates, jars and baskets. Of the dishes we had, the food itself had not been « re-imagined » which for me was excellent. Iâm not a fan of classics with a twist, in my opinion the true classics are best left alone. The meal was top quality and the evening was an enjoyable experience. I have scored the restaurant 4 rather than 5 as it is a little more expensive than average even allowing for Swiss prices. However, you can see the prices on the menu outside so itâs not a surprise. Two people having a starter and main course with a bottle of local wine and coffees came to just over 200 CHF. If you want a cheaper option, the Happy Days burger bar next door is part of the same business and shares a kitchen.
