Tried their regular gumbo to my dismay. It was the spiciest gumbo that I've ever had. The spice overpowered the other ingredients to the point that I could'n finish it. I also had the fried shrimp platter and it was very ordinary, mostly french fries. My wife had the shrimp boil and said that the shrimp were tough. The prices are about 15% too high.

Authentic, Southern Bar-B-Q. Meats are slow-smoked continuously around the clock to ensure only the freshest product. All trimmings are made from scratch daily (there's no freezer in the whole building!) Dine In, Drive Thru, To Go, and Catering available.
I ordered the smoked cuban sandwich with french fries. The sandwich was really, really good but it was missing the grilled onions. My husband ordered coleslaw with his classic bbq plate but got potato salad. He didn't return it since it tasted good. The food definitely was good but the portions were small. I definitely could have had more meat on my sandwich and same for the bbq plate. We are used to going to bbq places that serve generous portions. The only other thing I didn't like was how noisy it was. It's hard to have a conversation especially if there are more than two people. Also when we got there the hostess said it would be a 45-60 minute wait. It was Saturday at 7:00 so we expected a wait. I'm glad we stayed because we only waited 20 minutes. A lot of people left when they heard how long the wait was.

Never disappointed with their Bison Sliders and salads. Almost never make it to dessert because I am stuffed but the few times I have had their desserts they are excellent. Thank you for the 5-Star review! We're so glad to hear that you enjoy great food at Ted's and we look forward to serving you again soon!

My wife and I had lunch here today. We both had side salads and the we shared a reuben sandwich. It was all good. The french fries were home mad and very good. The couple next to us had breakfast food and it all looked good. You can eat breakfast lunch or dinner all day. We will definitely go back for brunch.

Visited for breakfast on a Saturday morning with my DH. The place was really busy with only one table available. It is a very small establishment and may have had 9-10 tables in the seating area. We ordered breakfast biscuits. I found they were just OK. Nothing special to write home about. This is a very popular place per the locals but I just don't see what the hype is about. Would I visit again? Not sure, In my honest opinion I may do just as good at Dunkin Donuts.

This was our first time at Parkside but definitely not our last. My wife wanted grilled oysters and we didn't want to drive downtown so we googled this place and were pleasantly surprised. The food was great, the service was fantastic (thanks Bethany and Sophia) and even the acoustic music was perfect. There is also a very impressive octopus mural painted on the back wall. We'll be back soon....

Apparently right as we walked in the restaurant had also seated two larger groups. That said our service was down right terrible, got orders wrong, some didnât even come out and the food was pretty bad. Gumbo was very salty, New York strip had zero taste, burger was cold, etc. Waitress said it was her 2nd week working but it seemed like more her second week as a waitress in general - did not know the job. Brought our concerns up with the manager, who was busy diffusing other poor experiences, gave us a gift card and encouraged us to try again. I think we will use the gift card as a promotional business gift and will not personally return. Cute downtown, bad service, almost worse food.

From the moment you approach the building, Medieval Times offers something out-of-the-ordinary. My girls, ages 8 and 9, were properly enthralled by the scenery, costumes, GIFT SHOP, and everyone solidly committed to staying in character, from the ticket booth clerk to waitress all speaking with an old timey British accent. Atmosphere was great, employees were amazing and added to the fun, food was perfect, which is amazing for the way it's served, and the show was a blast. My family and I nearly went hoarse cheering on our knights in their competition. We spent a small fortune on glowing swords, drinks, banners, and other add-ons, but got a groupon deal on tickets, and knew going into it that we were going to spend a lot to have a full experience. The kids (and hubby) will remember this for a long time to come, which is perfect because we can't afford to do it again any time soon. But it was perfect for what we wanted!

It's my birthday and my hubby surprised me with lunch at the Local Republic. It's a cozy dim lighted place with good ambience. I ordered the chicken and waffle which was good but the reuben was off the chart. Our daughter said the marinara meatballs were fantastic. Andi was our top notch waitress.

This restaurant used to be one of our favorites for breakfast and lunch, but today's experience changed everything. The "music videos" were so loud it was extremely uncomfortable both with volume and content - not family friendly at all. Could not even carry on a conversation without practically yelling at each other. It was horrible. Our food took forever today, even with 5 plus people cooking in the back. Our server was rushed and never came back to check on us after we finally got our food. Never asked if we needed anything or wanted refills on our drinks. My order was wrong, but I did not want to spend another hour waiting on my food, so I kept it. No condiments came with the meal - we had to ask another server if we could get some. Unfortunately, this will be our last time at this restaurant. Disappointing since we have been long time customers.
