After a fun adventurous day riding our SXS's at Summertown, we were ready for a good quick meal. Jacks is one of our local favorites at home, so we stopped in. The manager, Brandon, took our order. They were waiting for the fries to get done, so he asked us to take a seat and he would bring out our food. Everything was hot and delicious. After eating, we were looking at the map for a better route home. Brandon came to our table to see if we needed anything else. He took our trash and invited us to get a drink refill and stay as long as we needed. Very friendly service, Great hot food and the manager is hands on!! If we end up back in this area, Jacks is our first choice!! Highly recommend this place!!

This restaurant was clean and the service is good. We all ordered the roast beef and cheddar. I had the onion rings and everyone else had fries. We all enjoyed the meal. If your looking for a good quick roast beef sandwich, this is the place.

Being from the area and now living in Northern VA, when I come home, I like to eat at Krystal's at least once. I usually grab some on the way in the mountains, or Columbia, etc....numerous places and they've all been a HUGE disappointment. So, the last several years, I've learned to just wait until I get to L'burg and go to that Krystalâs, because it's the VERY best around. And I'm not exaggerating when I say that I believe that I've been to just about all of them in the state of TN. The staff is always friendly, too, which is a bonus! But, it's L'burg...people are always nice and it's the south! :-)

Sandwich, Deli & Catering can all be found in our little shop! Some of the best sandwiches around and a friendly staff await your visit!
Sandwiches are good but I consider them a little pricey for lunch and the area. They also charge too much for drinks. Thanks for the review saliba404! We hope you will visit us again and give us another try!

Food is good if your order the right things. The are often very busy. The place is just ok now. I'll probably stop by again sometime though.

This delicious restaurant is on-site of David Crockett State Park. They offer locally sourced options and is perfect after a long day of hiking. More information on this restaurant and many more is available on the TN State Parks website.
We went with a couple of friends for lunch. We sat buy the window overlooking the lake and it was a beautiful day. It was Free Coffee Day! The coffee was very good. The selections for the day at the buffet the day we were there were fried chicken, chicken fried steak and mostaccioli plus veggies. The fried chicken was really moist and had a light breading on it that was very good. The mostaccioli and chicken fried steak were both very good. My husband had the turnip greens and he said they were the best he had ever eaten. For dessert the chocolate cobbler with ice cream was very good. The cost was $8.95 a person but because we were all seniors we got a 10% discount. I would highly recommend this restaurant for both the food and they view. Plus the service was very good and all of the staff were very friendly. Thanks for the great review, Marilyn! We are so glad you enjoyed the buffet. Come back and see us soon!

Whenever my husband pass thru Lawrenceburg when traveling we usually try to stop at Square 40. This trip thru our meal was incredible. My husband & I both got the pt roast and it was awesome. He also tried a little of the chicken spaghetti and liked it too. The vegetables we very good as well. Our only complaint is our lack of self control and we ate too much. Great food, great price, great service! What more can you ask for?

I ordered green beans as a side item and got baked beans instead. I can't do baked beans due to the sugar content. I went back to the pick up area and told them that my order was wrong. The girl I told then got into a discussion right inside the kitchen area about what size they need to prepare for me. It seems...at this point it would not matter, just fix it and be done. However,I had to stand there while the rest of my food was getting cold and I was being stared at for calling this mistake to their attention. It took several minutes for them to determine what they were going to do about this situation like it was the first time it had ever happened. They then gave me a 4 inch cup about 2/3 full that looked like they had dried up at lunch. The cole slaw was turning brown and my husband's ribs were soaked in grease and were mostly fat and bones. Usually the Texas toast is butter but, not only was it not buttered but, was burnt and taste burnt. This is not your typical Rick's platter or food! I was highly disappointed. I have reservations putting this on TripAdvisor but, I did try to talk to someone at the home office and I couldn't get anyone to answer. This is normally a good place to eat and usually the service is good but, not this time. We were eating at 7p.m. and there was no excuse for bad food at that hour of the evening.

My husband and I found ourselves in nearby Leona on business at lunch time and asked an office person to recommend a good restaurant nearby. Without hesitation, he said, âThe Brass Lantern.â First impressions: big lunch crowd with pick-up window too, clean, attractive, conducive to conversation. Waitress took orders immediately. (Alpine chicken and hamburger steak with two sides) The menu clearly stated that food would take longer if one didnât order the special of the day.(chicken strips) our delicious rolls and drinks were sent right out, but we waited longer than usual for the entrees. Our food was quite delicious, fried okra a little greasy, but not bad. Next time we should go for the salad bar and perhaps get the special of the day to speed things up a bit. Hope to go back!
