We stopped here only because it had ample space to swing through and park our RV.Step inside the door and there was the ordering counter/meal prep counter/checkout. Wasn't busy for Monday lunch.Hubby ordered brisket sandwich...declared it OK.I ordered the pull pork sandwich...pork was REALLY dry. My side, jalapeño potato salad, was excellent. Two sandwiches, two sides and one beverage $24.I would only go back for the jalapeno potato salad...

Stopped by yesterday for coffee after driving several hours. The coffee was smooth and wonderful. Two of us had Texas sheet cake and another a peach turnover. It was all good. Others plates looked great and it was pretty full for mid afternoon. Found out later friends eat there often when in the area hunting. Iâd try to go again for a meal if in the area.

I had the moist brisket which was very tender and had a good bark. Could use just a little more smoke flavor. My wife had the sausage which was also very good. But the beans and collards took the meal to another level. My gosh they were fantastic. 1st time, certainly won't be the last.

Sweet Pickle Deli is a small restaurant in a small town in Texas. They do not have a website but are listed on other rating sites.
We loved our chicken salad sandwich and ham sandwiches! They were accompanied by delicious pickles made straight from the owner's grandmother's recipe! The potato salad was incredible too! The Dr. Pepper cake was a delight as well. This is our new favorite in the Lampasas area!

While on a recent hunting trip stopped by for a quick bite to eat in Lampasas. We were not disappointed. Indoor or outdoor seating with a music stage, Toupsies offered a varied creole and country style menu- we settled on the crawfish boil and country fried steak with sides of fried okra and dirty rice. Service was quick and friendly and the food was excellent. A satisfying experience

Storm's Drive-In Restaurant in Lampasas, TX serves old-fashioned burgers & French fries made fresh daily. See why we're the best restaurant for hamburgers. At Storm's Drive-In Restaurant we make our hamburgers out of 100% Texas beef. We're one of the few
Storm's has been featured in the Dallas and Fort Worth newspapers as a must-stop place to eat for traditional Texas comfort food when taking the backroad (US 281) between San Antonio/TX Hill Country and DFW. We were not disappointed. They have burgers sized for every appetite. They were tasty and hit the spot. The fries and onion rings were good as well, and they have different size options for fries and tots. We had the tea so can't comment on the shakes. Storm's has carhop service as well as an outdoor seating area where you order just as you would from your car. There aren't a lot of stalls, and they were almost completely full the entire time we enjoyed the patio seating. We will definitely stop again on a future trip.
