it's no surprise Jill Vedaa has been nominated for Best Chef by the James Beard Foundation. Vegetables sing coming out of her kitchen. They surprise you, tantalize your tongue, and then melt in your mouth. Meats are charred, crisp, juicy....and seafood is gently coaxed into perfect balance. Rejoice that Salt is a small plates venue because you're going to want to try every plate on the menu.

The Happy Dog is a neighborhood corner bar in the best sense of the term. We've got hot dogs and beer, and lots of live music, from rock and country to punk and polka. The bartenders are friendly and the bar itself is open and inviting - a racetrack oval
They offer delicious vegan dogs, and loads and loads of topping options. Plenty great brew on tap as well with many local options. It's a cool historic setting too, which could not be replicated in a new establishment. I'm looking forward to going back on my next trip to Cleveland.

Love the atmosphere. We always try to sit at the bar and the staff is always friendly. Love their burgers and tots and the multitude of beer selections...altho I usually just go w/a PBR...lol. They also have Bloody Mary bar on Saturday and Sunday...definitely worth checking out!!!

Joe's is known for its large portions and its almost endless menu choices. You may have to wait for a table but, no matter how hungry you are, you'll probably leave with leftovers. I've never tried the desserts but they look fabulous. Joe's also does a BIG take-out business

The service and the food were wonderful. We could not ask for a better meal in Cleveland then we had at Don's. It was luck of the draw. I saw them on Open table, and we liked their menu. Headed over there a bit later than our usual time for dinner, we had just driven in from Cincinnati. It was perfect. Next time in Cleveland, we will stop back in for another meal

Welcome to Sarita, where we are slightly obsessed with serving good food among friends and family. Our focus is on healthy, new American cuisine - a celebration of all our backgrounds and roots. The best of the best eats if you will. Lighter dishes with n
We dined on a sunny Monday evening. We were delighted by this beautiful patio oasis as well as the food. This may be the most beautiful patio in NE Ohio. I highly recommend the salmon entree as well as the Sarita house salad. We asked if our well-behaved dog could join us when we made our reservation and our request was honored because it wasn't too busy. It was a perfect night and close to Lakewood Park so that we could follow dinner with a lakefront stroll and sunset views.

We ate there on 5/3/19 at a booth along the north wall. I had the Best BLT and it was amazing. It had nice big pieces of crispy Canadian maple cured bacon, tomato and lettuce on whole wheat toast. Megan had the impossible burger which she nibbled at. She thought the fries tasted off. I tried them and they were good. The burger was not meat. I don't think she likes non meat burgers. Anyway, the service was good, the place is clean and vibrant and we had a great experience in a reasonable amount of time for a good price. We had to get there at 6 because we we seeing A Bronx Tale and as we were leaving the place was hopping.

Pier W, a landmark Cleveland restaurant, has been serving a critically acclaimed seafood and contemporary menu since May 11, 1965. Having recently undergone a $3 million interior renovation, the new Pier W resembles a sophisticated luxury liner cantilever
Surprisingly, there are not many Cleveland restaurants with a good lake view, but Pier W has the best. Plus, the selections of meals for lunch are outstanding. The service was excellent and meals reasonable and filling. We enjoyed perch, salmon, scallops, The lobster bisque and manilla clam chowder were equally tasty. Our guests left satisfied and impressed with their visit to Lakewood and Pier W.
