Catfish in the morning! Fried spam! How could you get better than that? There are 99 cent draft beers. The staff is friendly and quick. Careful - they're only open until 2 pm and not at all on Sundays.

Often frequent Beef O'Brady's for their outstanding wings and onion rings. Food is generally always very good but service is becoming more and more an issue. Servers seem to pretty unsophisticated at what they do. They never (almost) clear dirty dishes from the table even when they stop by to ask how things are. Its a no brainer that you pick up dirty dishes as you have an opportunity. Wings yesterday (3-20-18) at about 5:30PM were excellent as were the onion rings. Restaurant was not particularly busy and less than half full however they had to wait to serve a glass of wine because they were out of clean glasses. This was also Customer Appreciation Day. Staff need to be tter trained and more committed to what they are doing.

I love the deck at Bo David's. I've been there a few times and the food and service has been wonderful so far. The deck is pet friendly with high tables. Inside is very casual and comfortable. The menu has something for everyone. The gator bites were all they were cracked up to be!

Smoke Shack BBQ offers fresh, homemade, award winning BBQ and southern sides as well as fresh cut to order steaks and select seafood dishes. Lots of Burger and sandwich choices as well.
The Smoke Shack's new location, although a bit outside of their previous downtown location, is very welcoming. The atmosphere is nice, fresh, clean. Menu selections are varied, but you must order the ribs! They are fabulous! Our waitress was very pleasant however she seemed a bit overwhelmed.

Mostly your typical buffet with a Salad Bar and Soup, veggies, side dishes, pizza, Chicken, shrimp, Fish, not so good meat loaf, mashed potatoes, up graded flank steak and prime rib bar sliced by and employee and a chocolate fondue fountain on the dessert bar. My meal wasnât great, I think it was just your fair to average buffet food of which I am not a fan. I was in a group and had to go where They wanted.

We were staying in the area and had a realtor appointment early, so I googled breakfast places and called in an order for pickup ( realtor was one block down ) The order was ready as promised, hot and huge, delicious. We got ham, egg and cheese on homemade biscuit. I saw a plate of blueberry pancakes that I am definitely trying next visit.

We live in the area, so we've got our favorites from the menu and generally stick with them.. Burgers are great, as is the Dock Onion and the Fish and Chips! Whenever possible we prefer to sit outside if we want to have any conversation at all. Any kind of a crowd inside, and talking is almost impossible! If they would do something about the noise I would give them 5 stars!

Had lunch there. 2 of us had the chicken salad on croissants. The other had a salad which was gigantic. The waitress was very welcoming and gave us plenty of time for our meal. No rushing us along, just friendly service. Clean. Good food. All of which contributed to the excellent rating.

I keep wanting to like this place but it's not happening. Two of us for dinner, their baked gator dish appetizer and her usual crab cake. The gator thing was delicious but super cheesey. A zillion calories according to this morning's scale but the meat itself was tasty and tender. I should have opted for the plain gator bites. Today's gripe ... long handled broom and dustpan leaning against a clean table. My thinking was that the waitstaff was trying to get a jump on closing. It was 8:30 and I don't particularly want the clean up crew around while I am eating. Sure enough, as we (and other diners) were still eating, one of the waitresses starts sweeping the floor. What is it about Jaxson's management that they don't understand logic? That they can't re-take Restaurant 101? That they can't understand cleanliness is CRITICAL to a successful restaurant? Am I being unreasonable because I don't want a dead frog as a table guest? That I don't want the cleaning crew to disrupt my dinner? That I want clean restrooms? We are not beer, burger, and burp diners; we eat out a lot and like variety; good food, good service, fair prices. Here's a generous tip if you do things right. If the food is good and the place is clean, we'll be back. There are good people who frequent Jaxson's; they like cold beer, occasional live entertainment, TV sporting events, and an active bar scene. Jaxson's is a great place for this kind of outing.
