I have always seen this place as a pub first and a place to grab a bite to eat as second. The pub has a full bar and a relatively small seating area, and an equally small area with table and chairs for the restaurant part of this place. Staff was friendly. You could smell the food from the kitchen, and a family of four were enjoying what they ordered to eat. I have always enjoyed this place and their service. It's great to see you are still here after so many other businesses on the main drive have gone out of business in Lake City. Keep on keeping on! It is always great to stop in here!

We were traveling up north to the UP and found this place on Trip Advisor for Breakfast. Customer service was amazing. Very friendly!!! Biscuits and gravy were good but the biscuit needs to be lighter and fluffier. Blueberry pancake was good. My husband ordered the hungry mans and it was a lot of good food for the price. Presentation could of been a bit better as you. Can see in photo. Coffee was good and flavored creamer made it great. Great job Leanna.
Family owned bar and grill. Daily specials, homemade soups, live Music, karaoke, 25 beers on draft, power hour from 5-6 p.m. with half off apps, and more.
This is a friendly place with a hometown feel. When we stopped, the Taphouse was very busy, but the staff was friendly and worked well together to make it all run smooth. We watched the kitchen staff work and decided that the burgers looked good coming out of the kitchen- and they were! We ordered the mushroom & Swiss and the Campfire burger. The Mushroom had lots of cheese and the Campfire was not too spicy. They ran out of the usual sides that are offered with the meal and offered a salad or soup instead, the steak and potato soup was delicious.Next trip north we will try the nachos and the olive burger.

The Blue Heron serves an excellent breakfast and lunch in large proportions; they are not open for dinner. Food is always fresh and unique. Daily lunches include a choice of 2 homemade soups w/complimentary homemade sourdough bread and a variety of sandwi
We were traveling through Cadillac and stopped at Blue Heron for lunch. Conveniently located with easy street parking, the restaurant was a mix of neighborhood bakery and locally farmed and crafted cuisine. Salads, sandwiches, and soups were accompanied by homemade breads. Coffee was fairtrade, deeply delicious, and frequently refilled. We have a manual wheelchair and were easily accommodated. Just perfect. Thank you.
