Dirty cup and silverware, rotten tomato in salad, black stuff in whipped butter. To Go Orders consistently leave something out of the to go bag.The only plus is the gift shop and the gift shop manager. If you are shopping, come on by. If you are looking to eat, skip on down the road 15 minutes to Cracker Barrel in Newnan for a wonderful experience.

Average place!! Food was VERY bland!! We ordered a grilled seafood platter. Presentation was nothing special. The grilled flavored was missing!! As we travel we like to hit the local restraunts instead of a chain eatery. The place appears like NO updates in 30 years!!! Bland bland food!!!! My advice keep driving!! Sadly will not be back. Now the service was excellent!!!

Oyster house is a seafood restaurant serving fresh seafood from all over the United states, Seafood Buckets, fish and chips, Oyster every way , shrimp, catfish, scallops etc. we also have a choice ribeye, and wings, tenders for the non seafood lovers. Ful
Went here for family dinner. The crab dip was fine, salad was.. McDonald's quality.. (sorry but yep)The fried oysters were tasty but you had to fight for cocktail sauce lol (once again think McDs and extra sauce)... LolThe grilled scallops were good for erasers. Sorta.. Overall it's got to be the best non chain in LaGrange. But I was less than impressed.

Fried Tomato Buffet Provides Buffet, Dine-In an Carryout Services to the Lagrange, GA Area.
My wife and 6 yr old son visited with me recently and we all found a number of Southern favorites. The fried green tomatoes are excellent, as expected. The fried chicken was great as well. There were plenty of side options, but I recommend the collard greens and blackeyed peas as among the best. The price at $9 is an incredible value given the quality of the food.

My son and I stopped in for lunch. Based on the reviews this was supposed to be one of the best barbeque joints in the area. If it is then barbeque in LaGrange is not my thing. I found the meat over cooked and dry. My son felt like the food was tasteless. Yes, it was crowded with locals but it was sunday at lunch and most places were closed. A very disappointing experience. On top of that, parking is hard to find near the place and there is no place to wait if there is rain. Hi there, we are sorry to hear about your disappointing experience. Could you please email us a [email protected] and tell us these details plus the date and time of your visit. It sounds like we had an off night! As for parking, once other spots are full, most people park in the parking deck that's directly adjacent to the restaurant.

Lunch was great in this small place. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Owner was working and it showed. He was a great guy.Hotdogs are simple, boiled dogs with old fashioned toppings. Dogs were hot but not boiled to death.Chili cheese dogs were good with a fresh, mild chili. Kraut dogs were good and wife ordered a second one. Stop in and have a good, fun meal. Can't stop, use the walk-up order windows.

This particular LongHorn is a travel favorite when traveling through LaGrange. It is located just off I-85, easily accessible. I've eaten there several times and never had a bad meal. My favorite is the salad with the addition of a salmon order placed on the salad. I'm picky about salmon. These are always cooked just right and taste fresh. May not be fresh, but the taste is there. Service is good, and I can get a nice glass of Cabernet with my meal.

This place has excellent food. They are open limited time and not on Saturday and Sunday. Crowded at night and have to wait. Food worth the wait

Chicken Florentine - the sauteed green beans, garlic mashed potatoes along with the creamy sauce is a ten! The two flash fried boneless skin on thighs, maybe a 7 1/2. I think I would prefer the thighs grilled with lemon and herbs. If you are not that hungry, it's perfect to split for two!

I had lunch with a LaGrange friend here today. The hostess was very friendly, and we just had a brief wait. The place was packed. I had salmon coquettes (didn't really care of these), delicious rutabagas, very good turnips, and some fine okra. The cornbread was outstanding. I will go back and choose another entree.
