Service was attentive and prompt. I had the pastrami sandwich which was excellent - moist, slightly fatty (but not excessively) with a good quality cheese on a good quality bun. Husband chose one of their many burgers which was also excellent. You get choice of either salad or fries. The patio is so nice on a hot summer night. Lots of big TVs (which I do'nt like (but great for watching Warriors games). Why not the 5th star? My husbands fries were all burnt ends and junk. I wanted to send it back to get good fries but he was so hungry and he hates to complain. But when I saw the fries at the other two tables I realized the kitchen cut a corner and sent out the junk stuff because they wanted to get the plate out. For $16 burgers the kitchen shouldn't done that.

Our party of 6 enjoyed a satisfying experience at this neighborhood establishment. The food is good, the patio has a great vibe, and the service excellent. I was impressed with the extensive wine by the glass list to complement a relatively limited menu. The menu is varied with Italian and Asian influences and a ginormous seafood tower....says its for 2-3 but we shared among 6 and added half dz oysters of the shell. The French Dip...so so, Ribs yummy, Burgers good, Arancini Risotto good, Korean Chicken sliders needed a little more âkickâ to the sauce.....cookie platter great, Ho-ho dessert was good. Kudos to our server who was engaging, witty, and fun....

We had a hard time getting to the place coz it really a hideout but itâs wortg the time trying to figure out where it was. We missed our reservation time and told that we had to wait for 30 minutes but it didnât really take that long and we were seated. As expected, brunch was great and the servings are huge .

This is such a cute breakfast or lunch spot.. casual and fun.. we came for a holiday dinner w someClose friends..and it was so casual and such bright lights at a table practically in the kitchen. The staff was so attentive that we felt a bit rushed and interrupted when we were visiting. The ladies had chicken that came out a good 5Minutes before guys sliders.. chicken cold.. and hard to cut .. guys sliders had ice cold buns from fridge..and were small just sitting on a plate.. the best thing we had was truffle fries..salty hot and good We ended up at cooperage for drinks after.. which had the right Lighting and feel.. american kitchen is maybe just more casual than what we wanted? Maybe just lunch sitting outdoors is better for here. We go to 4th bore and even tho casual it has correct Lighting level.. and feels more evening than this did.

We've dined here many times and always had good meals with very professional welcoming service. The prices are reasonable. Nice wine list. Lovely interior and a pleasant terrace outside.

Food is ok but, when the sun is setting, it shines onto the huge mirror against the wall. If you are seated at the mirror, the guest facing the mirror is in extreme misery, we gulped down our average food, paid our bill and ran out. No hostess or manager to talk to and no offer of help from the server. I wouldnât return

Iâm a big fan of the Bistroâs Reuben sandwich, so when Iâm in town I stop off. This is in the hotel so there is valet parking if you donât want to do self park. Spots are tight. They are known for their French onion soup. Good salads and always a quiche of the day.

Had dinner here last night, group of seven. Everyone was raving about their meal and the waitress took good care of us. Drinks were yummy, extensive wine selection. Charming old style brick restaurant with lovely outdoor patio. Valet parking offered.

My husband had never been there and decided to check out their happy hour. The patio was pretty empty for a Friday happy hour. Their happy hour menu has quite a few poke or ceviche options, neither of which sounded appealing to us at the time. We ordered their calamari and a tempura shrimp roll. They were both okay, but nothing special. With these two appetizers and 2 glasses of happy hour wine and 1 happy hour beer the bill was $42. Not the best value for the money. My husband called this visit "a swing and a miss". There are other options in the Walnut Creek area with better seafood happy hour items such as Wences.
