Tropical Koh Lipe Located at the top end of Walking Street (other end to the beach) you find the beautifully presented Tropical cafe / coffee house. We found this place on our 2nd day on the island and then proceeded to have breakfast, more like brunch and diner ever day, with the exception to our last day! The food is absolutely fantastic......and we should know as we had virtually every meal on the menu! The prices are reasonable especially when you consider the quality of the foods! Diners can have free drinking water.....they even offer free drinking water to people who have a Save Koh Lipe cup (don’t know where to get these from). The staff......ALL OF THEM! We’re absolutely fantastic! Always welcomed with a beaming smile! They were remarkably attentive and on hand at all times! This place is without doubt worth a visit......and I suspect once you’ve been you return time after time! Just like we did :) Thanks Tropical you made our stay extra special and we hope to see you again!

Cool, laidback bar with local music strumming melodiously from the stage area. Locals and customers alike jam as you wish, and their infectious joy and cest la vie attitude is what makes island life special.Loved the staff and all of the friendly smiles.

Our speedboat arrived to Koh Lipe literally right in front of the Homeless House which seemed to be calling us over. The bar looked so authentic and inviting that we decided to take a look. I ordered a Hurricane cocktail which was absolutely delicious while my gf ordered a passionate fruit mojito which was equally delicious. I was impressed by the extensive menu and decided to order a grilled cheese sandwich since they were all out of hot dogs. The sandwich was perhaps one of the best grilled chesse's I've ever tried. I found the staff to be extremely welcoming and friendly and we ended up spending a good hour there even though we were anxious to get to our hotel. This place is a must if you're interested in authentic cocktails, delicious comfort food, and friendly staff !!

Pretty popular, opens at 13:00, so dinner might be best for this place. Got here at 19:00 and pizzas weren't fresh so not too good. Btw, there's no water here.
