Snack, pie and service were all good. Clean. Enjoyed the quiet because it was about 8 pm. Usually only have breakfast at Perkins but this was good.

Our server was very attentive. Meals were warm, tasty, and cooked to order. Good portions! Was surprised I was carded ( I'm 70) but server said everyone was carded. Not a uniform policy as server next to us did NOT card her three tables. By the way, the alcoholic drinks were some of the best we've had. No room for dessert.

A small, family-owned group of restaurants, hand-crafting food since 1995. We feature wood-fire grilled steaks cooked over full sized logs of oak and ash, award-winning BBQ slow-smoked on premise, homemade desserts and much more.
Great menu, lots of choices, peanuts on tables. We ordered top sirloin, baked potato and salad and smokehouse chicken, baked potato and salad. All of the food was excellent. The chicken was juicy with lime chipotle bbq sauce and smothered in bacon cheese, mushrooms, onions. Salads were fresh and bread and honey cinnamon butter were good too. Definitely recommend.

Great food, decent price and waitress was delightful. Traveling across the country and decided to treat ourselves instead of fast food. Our waitress was very helpful and checked on us several times. Food was great and the price is reasonable. The variety is awesome!!! I definitely recommend.

We chose this place as our go to place was closed for renovations. While the place was not "filled up" we had to wait about 5 mins to be sat at a table. Our waiter was brusque, but I'm not sure if that is just his personality or if he was overstressed as it appeared that only he and one other person were working. We were asked for our drinks which were brought pretty quickly. The menu has a wide variety of inspired dishes. There are fancy 1/2 lb burgers, pizzas, calzones and pastas to chose. My one kid is a vegetarian, so it was nice that they had options for her. I think there were gluten-free options on the menu too.Our biggest complaint was the LOOONNNGGGG time we had to wait for food. We noticed that tables that ordered pizzas seemed to receive their food faster than we (we ordered 2 burgers and 1 pasta dish). We did find out that part of the problem with our order was that another table had an order similar to ours and the burger meant for my other girl was given to that table. However, by the time we were told this, we had been sitting for at least 30 mins and probably closer to 45! If I had another place to go or if the girls had been less forgiving, I'd have left. Now, in favor of the server, he did apologize profusely for the mix up (oh, which also included my burger being delivered with onions which I had specifically asked to not have so my burger also had to be remade) and eventually took 1 burger order off our ticket. Fair, yes, I think so. Enough to make me want to go back...not sure. Food was good, fries were powerfully flavored, so warning to those who like plain fries. I happened to love the extra flavor. My kid ordered the fries with truffle and garlic. She said they were super tasty.So...long wait, screwed up order vs tasty food which was served in a sizable quantity. It was spring break and maybe that affected their normal help? I don't know. Since I only seem to be in Kearney around spring break, it would make me think twice about going back. I'm still more miffed than happy.

My brother and sister-in-law took us to Cunninghamâs Journal for lunch. The setting on lake is wonderful and there are so many options where to dine - on the marvelous flower-filled deck, the area right inside the deck or in the restaurant itself. Our server, Kaitlin, was great. She checked back with us several times and was in tune with what we would like. The food selection is incredible and we each had something different, pizza, quesadillas, buffalo bleu hamburger and Cajun hamburger. We were amazed at the quality of the food. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting or passing through Kearney.

Woodstone oven pizzas, calzones, salads served with wonderful craft brews.
We stopped here after reading good reviews and wanted something that wasn't a chain restaurant. Big selection of beers available. Menu was mostly pizza, and what we had was great. Definitely more of a bar atmosphere than a restaurant. Our server was indifferent and had little personality. Good place if you're wanting something local and different.

Family restaurant serving delicious appetizers, gourmet burgers, local craft beers, and handmade shakes!
We ate here on a Tuesday eve. Lots of families with kids plus older travelers, so a mix of locals and not. We shared a cheeseburger which was tender, chewy and slightly charred outside but just right inside and enough for two=perfect. I used their house made ketchup and mustard which were very tastey and good. The bacon on our burger was just crisp and hot, not limp weak tea like some places. We had sweet potato tots which were excellent and came with a spiced butter dipping sauce. We had a side salad which was more than enough for us to share, with three kinds of lettuce, red onion slices, cherry toms, and shredded cheese with balsamic vinagerette. ALL GOOD! I had a local brew, Good Evans pilsner which had a creamy head, good mouth feel, mild to moderate taste, so pretty good on a hot summer day. My wife had an awesome strawberry milkshake, like they made on old days, with real strawberry chunks, SB syrup, and good ice cream in a king size glass for only $5. Overall excellent service and food. Try it! (Hope they did not suffer too much damage in the big flood that happened right after we left which inundated the whole Hotel Row area!) All in, only $38 for two.We just wanted to reach out and tell you how much we appreciate your fantastic review! It is so refreshing to hear that you loved every part of your visit to Angus Burgers & Shakes! It is so important to us to know that every part of your dining experience was satisfactory on all levels! Unfortunately we did sustain quite a bit of damage during the flooding, but we will bond together and get the restaurant up and running ASAP!!

Full Service Fine Dining Restaurant With A Wide Selection Of Wine And Cocktails
Traveling through and TA has this place listed high so we tried it. Itâs right downtown and it has excellent food and service. There were 4 of us, one had the chicken schnitzel, one the chicken caprese, one the chicken Alfredo and one the grilled salmon. They were all four excellent and we would gladly order them again, especially the chicken Alfredo with linguine. The salad bar was small but it was fresh and the soup was really good. Everyone was nice serving us and we definitely thought this was well worth going to.
