"Probably best fine dining in Juneau according to locals", so we tried it and were pleased. It is not perfect and is pricy but most places in Juneau are expensive for what you get. Our food was good and were offered a very good wine after our choice from the list was not available. Our server Sam was a bit stressed, I think the kitchen was a bit slow and kept him hopping apologizing to the tables he served, but he did do a good job and lightened up the evening. So, it turned out to still be the best in town.

Yea, it was a tourist place, but worth the visit. Energetic staff kept the tables turning over, and we got to sample the famous Alaskan crab. A bit of fun and tasty as well. Had the roll, friends had the bisque, all good, even though a little bit too much slaw on the roll

CLOSED UNTIL MAY 2020! Watch float planes take off and land at this indoor-outdoor seafood bar, serving a variety of fresh Alaska seafood. The specialty is Halibut & Chips, but youâll also find fish tacos, reindeer sausage corndogs, salads, and regional c
The only fish and chips I like is Halibut and you can't get it where I live. Recently on a cruise to Alaska, my husband and I tried the halibut at several places in Alaska and Seattle. This was by far the best we had. Not too much breading and the fish was delicious. Only complaint is that you couldn't order extra pieces of fish ala carte. Highly recommend.

Closed until May 2020. Twisted Fish Co is next to the cruise ship docks on the waterfront in Juneau, Alaska. Open May through September seasonally, we serve fresh Alaskan seafood and a variety of local flavors. The full service restaurant is a local favor
Fare was ok... could tell the salmon was not fresh...it was frozen. Pricey for the meal. Staff was nice though and it was close to the boatThank you for the review & your feedback Lisa. Unfortunately, fresh salmon is not always available, and during certain parts of season some salmon is flash frozen either on the boat or immediately upon being brought into port. This is usually still a very high quality product and the only way that the industry can function effectively. Regardless, it sounds like what we served you was below our normal quality standard and for that we apologize.

Didn't order food so I can't tell you much about that. I can tell you that the place is enjoyable - lots of great energy going around. There was live, old country music when I was there. The waitresses where cute little uniforms and were friendly. The menu is funny to read, and I got a glacier margarita which not only pretty cool to look at, but also tasted pretty good. It's quite a spectacle, but worth stopping in.

I have eaten a lot of pizza, and their gourmet varieties are full of intense flavor. Their crust is not too filling and their beer selection is very good. We were in Juneau for one week, and found a way to hit this establishment three times.

I was brought here by a local, who considers Sandpiper Cafe to be the best breakfast spot in Juneau. And breakfast was excellent! My only complaint is that I couldn't come back again to sample more of the menu.

Seasonal restaurant open May- September. Offering wild Alaskan fish tacos and fish and chips, beer and wine. Locally owned and operated by a former commercial fisherman.
A beautiful outdoor terrace on a sunny afternoon. Salmon Tots were tasty, A good start! Tried the Fish Taco Sampler, battered cod, pan fried rockfish and crumbled salmon...fish was cold as were the beer battered fries...really disappointed. Food came super quick which suggested it wasnât cooked to order...a shame....way too expensive for a bad meal. Go to The Salmon Spot. Hello thanks for the review! Just so we are on the same page. You had battered Halibut, blackened rockfish, and Panko crusted sockeye salmon. Everything is in fact, cooked to order. I have no other way of doing it in my tiny kitchen. Food is quick if there isnât too big of a line. Fish tacos are meant to be eaten right away. This is because the hot fish is topped with a cold slaw and fresh pico. I speculate that maybe they sat and cooled down as you ate your tots? Either way, if you were unhappy with your meal I would be more than happy to make it right! So feel free to email me [email protected] or call me at+19079572212. As for the salmon spot! I love the salmon spot as well :). I support all food trucks! I built this food truck park because we all lost our location and I wanted to create a space for everyone. I have even talked to the salmon spot about moving over here and giving them a location, because they too might lose their spot. I recommend you eat at all the food trucks!Hope to hear from you soon,David

We are a locally owned food cart serving up locally caught salmon! Our menu is simple, delicious, local, and includes quick bites like salmon cakes- made to order, and lunch options such as a juicy salmon burger or warm and creamy chowder. Also available
The Salmon Spot is still a winner, located near the library downtown branch. They are good for their salmon burger, salmon cakes or salmon cakes salad with a garlic maple sauce. Their buns for the burger isn't very good. Ask for sauce on the side or to hold it if you don't like a sweet sauce. Their salmon chowder is too diluted and not much salmon in the chowder, more like a watered down soup than a chowder. Outdoor seating only. Credit cards accepted. Basically open to serve the cruise ship passengers. Coffee is available but could taste better.
