We stopped in after church recently for breakfast and had to wait in line - this place is a gold mine. They have great service, good food and decent prices. We've been back twice since. You can't go wrong.

A nice place to eat. It is clean and well lit. Always very busy, but waiting time is only 15-20 minutes. The burgers are great, and the bottomless fries are also very good. We enjoy it everytime we visit.

The Lark is a gem of fine dining in the heart of downtown Janesville, WI! Upon entrance, the massive wall of spirit greets you and you are smiling before the hostess/server even gets to you. Intimate table settings are juxtaposed with bar seating. The cocktail menu is large and full of quintessential flavors, I enjoyed the Rev. Morris because of my love for maple. Locally-sourced ingredients make the menu fun and seasonally inspired. I enjoyed the fried olives, Creole Pumpkin Bisque, and Tikka Tacos. I honestly can't wait to get back and try something new in Spring.

We went to eat at Prime Quarter wait was an hour and a half, but worth it. It was our first time there. Waitress was very kind, pleasant, and just a happy go lucky girl :) Always making sure we were okay needed refills, darn I wish I catched her name. We cooked our own steak turned out amazing on the grill. Salad bar small but that's fine u get full off a steak, texas toast and a baked potato. Will be going back on a normal basis. Thanks for having such pleasant place in Janesville.

Stopped on our way home from Chicago. Staff was friendly and personable. We were greeted immediately as we walked in the door, seated immediately and beverages orders were taken/delivered promptly. My husband had hoped for an omelette, which isnât on the menu. Our server said no problem, they can customize. I was able to substitute blueberry pancakes into a combo breakfast that listed regular pancakes. Both the blueberry and maple syrup are served in individual glass bottles so no sharing of germs on sticky syrup containers used throughout service. Pancakes were slightly crispy on the outside and tender inside. Country hashbrowns were excellent. Selection of breakfast meats was tasty. Berry iced tea was full of flavor. Window shades were drawn and did evidence a need for cleaning. Otherwise we enjoyed our meal and especially our table service.

We eat at Texas Roadhouse quite often, and most are great. This is the second straight time the Janesville location has been an issue.The ribs were not only left over from yesterday, but were also about half warm. The waitress never came back after taking the order, we even had to get someone else to give us the bill. I wanted to get a manager and give them an earful, but it upsets others in the group, so I just had a crap meal, and left. I was already way past enjoying anything to eat at that point.

This was a stop on a road trip from Florida to Minnesota. My son and I thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere in this historic building near the river downtown. The burgers were fantastic, the beers were cold, and the employees were very friendly. If we are ever passing though Janesville again, we will definitely return!

Enroute back to Chicago, we stopped at this lovely Irish pub. Loved the Irish flags outside, the memorabilia inside, the booths, the tin ceilings, the Irish photos, the long wooden bar-great decor! And the menu is extensive and offered truly authentic Irish entrees. Loved being able to get bangers and mash, Irish rashers, and sharp Irish cheddar. Even the ground chuck burgers are delicious (get the Pub chips!) Prices are very reasonable and the service is friendly and efficient! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Based on Trip Advisor review ratings, including noting it is a local restaurant, decided to eat here. Itâs surrounded by your typical franchise eateries, and from all appearances looks a franchise, but the food indicated otherwise. Loved the Meatloaf nested on garlic mashed potatoes and covered with a unique, tomato gravy and ribbon onion rings. Delicious! Spouse really liked her Milwaukee burger and fries. If I didnât live 5 hours away, I would definitely return to try other menu items.

The citrus cafe does food right. Make sure you order fresh squeezed orange juice. You donât realize what youâre missing drinking the stuff from the carton.
