We only go inside the restaurant for the buffet, but on some occasions have ordered take-out bucket for large gatherings. Chicken is usually fresh unless you get there shortly before closing time. Buffet does not have a lot of choices, but my favorite is cole slaw, pinto beans and mashed potatoes and gravy. So I'm pleased.

Good food at reasonable prices. Don't know any other restaurant that includes soup and salad as part of the entree price . Always has warm fresh baked bread. Menu includes many German and Austrian favorites as well as traditional American type food. Great potato pancakes and homemade salad dressings. Service Personnel are always friendly and very willing to help you through your dining experience. My wife and I have been patronizing this restaurant for over 30 years and can't understand some of the negative reviews that have shown up on this site. These people must have had a bad day or have some secret agenda to discredit this restaurant that has been a jewel in the community for over 30 years. And oh yes you can bring your favorite beverage for a very small corkage fee. Do yourself a favor and give this restaurant a try you won't be disappointed. Be sure to save room for the homemade desserts.

Based on reviews here on tripadvisor, my husband and I had lunch at The Boutique Café on a "take a rest from riding" day on our recent vacation with our horses to Eastfork Stables to camp and ride the Cumberland Plateau. The Boutique is an little spot of eclectic, localism. It is an interesting blend of cute, but designed towards the younger lady clothing and a neat little café seating in the back. The food was delicious, well prepared and well presented. I would definitely agree that this is the best restaurant in Jamestown. If you are in the area for lunch, definitely go, they are only open from 11-2 for lunch.

We really only had burgers and cheese steak subs, but they were both very good. My tater tots were over cooked, but that could be a matter of taste. Clean and hospitable family-style diner.
